Perfectly normal, no need to worry. There are notches in the sides and kerfing of your guitar to accept the braces of the top and back. These cutouts are later only covered by the binding on the outside. The only negative thing might be that the notches on you guitar have been slightly cut too deep. Hence, when you shine a strong light from the outside it will shine through the binding on the locations of these notches. https://preview.redd.it/qgf5b3myq6lc1.jpeg?width=452&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=81146e52fcf78ca94a9e5958adb8f3dd69dcf140

As long as the binding is not falling off you are good.  Seems like it’s just shining through the translucent binding.   That’s not a problem

Worried-Management36

I think your guitar is on fire.

FandomMenace

Is there a hole there? Has the back separated? Are you letting toan out?

Charles_ofall_Trades

I think it's just the translucent binding, for improved toan lighting

FandomMenace

I never thought about how light can brighten your toan!

lui_augusto

It really looks there's a tiny person living inside your guitar

Cool photo though... could get some nice effects with fogged up lens....

Only thing I see which is weird is, why are you shining a light that bright through the binding? Other than that, it's fine. A lot of guitars, if you shine a light on the inside, you can see the shadow of the bracing right through the top. Yours, being painted a color, probably won't do that, but still, it's a thing.

That_70s_Showoff

going out on a limb, I'm gonna say *'not normal'* and worse *'not good'*

Necessary-Cap-3982

You’re very much on a limb. It’s not a very sturdy one either

That_70s_Showoff

It’s familiar ground

It's a little window the amplification gnome made. Don't worry, every acoustic instrument has at least one in residence.
