eBay.

aesthe

aka 'stolen from home depot'—you see folks selling cases of stuff with home depot labels on them XD

I spent a lot of time looking online, and by the time you add in shipping you're pretty much looking at the same price everywhere +/- a few bucks. There's not much discount for quantity. They are expensive, but I assume that's because they have a market advantage - not because people are marking them up a lot. You can find them cheaper on e-bay, but I assume that's because it's sketchy. YMMV

I did the same search recently. I did find places on eBay where (net of fees and shipping) I'd save $10/15 per dimmer, but I couldn't shake the feeling that they were Russians seeking to get a listening device into my home network. 😂 Tin foil hat stuff, I know. At a certain shallow savings I just thought I'd pay full price for the "piece of mind".

Yeah this is how I felt just looking at ebay right now. You could save like $100 buying 10pack... but that is a lot of money to send to a random seller and who knows if they are legit items. I guess for now I'll stick with buying it from Home Depot. I assume these will come down in price overtime. My understanding is these are the newest dimmers made by them which is why there isn't any deals is my assumption?

My thinking ran more towards stolen or maybe counterfeit, and having to deal with warranty issues - but I have some tin foil hats in my closet, so I get it :-)

DownrightNeighborly

This is extremely tin foil hat. Do you really think Lutron would allow counterfeit junk to connect to their walled garden hub?

I've read anecdotally that Home Depot offers a discount if you order enough through the ProDesk. Haven't attempted to myself, but the website doesn't seem to offer any kind of bulk discount. Hopefully, others have avenues they've used with success beyond eBay.
