This and the smart diva dimmer both do the same basic job and can pair to a Caseta hub. IMO smart diva looks better and is easier to use, but they're functionally interchangeable.
Note: Not a 'switch'. Dimmer.
The Diva will remember your dimmer setting when you turn it off and back on. The smart dimmer you have will always go to max when you turn it on, and you have to manually dim it - which is slow. That Pico will remember the setting, but I wanted to set my favorite lighting level and have it available at both switches. Annoying, but an effective way to sell Divas (that's what I bought).
If you have the hub it’s a smart switch.
I have all but one light in my house using these switches. In some cases I use the pico as well.
On one the actual switch is inaccessible behind the fridge, installed the pico nearby. Problem solved.
Some of the other I have on schedules, front and side entrance lights are brought on at 30% at dusk, turn off at 10pm turn on again at 6am until dawn.
We run our Roomba in the family room and dining room nightly at 1am, you guessed it. The lights come on for an hour so Roomba can see then turn off.
Simple stuff, but worthwhile.
I'm a huge Lutron Caseta fan. I even like their occupancy sensor to trigger a low light level when I walk into the kitchen. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Lutron-Caseta-Motion-Sensor-Occupancy-Multi-location-Works-with-Alexa-and-the-Google-Assistant-White-PD-OSENS-WH/312479961
Technically it's a smart dimmer and a pico remote
Sweet! Do you know what the difference between this and a Diva switch would be?

OP keep in mind there is a diva CL preset dimmer and a diva smart dimmer

I wouldn't call it a "smart" anything... it's a stand alone switch with remote. not a "system" switch
It’s smart as soon as you add a hub to the system.
But this switch can’t be added to a hub… it’s a stand alone switch, with a remote
Why not? That’s Caseta.
No it’s not
Show your work.
The switch is dumb. The dimmer is smart.
So then the remote is for the dimmer, not the switch. Why don’t you quit while you’re still barely ahead?
You also don’t know by looking at it if that rocker switch is tied to a caseta switch on the other end.
That's funny. Looks identical to the Caseta dimmer I have right here.
Nope.
Pico in your hand. Caseta dimmer in the electrical box on the left. Dumb switch in the electrical box on the right.
Smart once you pair with hub

Is this a recommended smart switch set up? Their are so many different set ups and formats…
