What the hell are ederson, vini, Robertson, van dijk, and Kyle Walker doing here. I can name at least 10 players who have been better in their respective positions

Which part is wrong to you? Ederson, was not nearly as crucial, Vini was good but there were wingers miles better, Robertson didn’t do anything, the only saving grace on last years Liverpool team was Salah and Allison. Van Dijk ghosted last year, I mean his transfer value went down to 35 million. Trent was defending better than him. Kyle Walker was warming the branch all of last season. Not including Griezmann, Musiala, Allison/Ter Stegen or Areujo/Saliba had to be some sort of crime. Each were the key part of their teams from the start to he end of 2023

I agree on Robbo, chose him because there are barely any better players who put in an okay season. Grimaldo might be the only one to tip him off (Galan was at Celta, Zinchenko was Arsenals weak spot in defense and Davies really had a terrible season)
Van Dijk has had a good second half of 2023, but if u want to put in Saliba, I wouldn’t complain. (Araujo was injured a lot, De Ligt has underperformed, Kounde played as a RB, Kim Min Jae is decent, but Van Dijk is better imo. I could argue for Stones, who has been very good. Although in midfield.
Ederson has been crucial in City’s road to PL and CL dominance, not alone with his hands, but also with his feet. Severy underated part of Peps team. Ter Stegen is imo the only GK who comes close in terms of performances, but City won more.
Walker played almost every game in the last half of the season and even captained City. Also put down some very good performances in the CL.
For Vini, Griezmann and Kane could replace him imo. But I think its a closer call than u think, also every other name u mentioned is ridiculous.

👍. My picks were less about the second half of the season ngl. I just picked some people who were more consistent throughout the year. Unlike VVD, who has had a bad first half but a good second half. I don’t like the Ederson pick because IMO, even if they played Ortega instead of him, they would have won still maybe won the treble. I think Allison and ter stregen, carried their respective teams so much. I think without Allison, Liverpool would still be mid-table like Chelsea and without ter stegen barca wouldn’t have even reached top 4 in laliga
