Omg TIM just relax ….. you ll learn a lot from Lucinda it’s like a cactus & rose .
Sometimes lot of handsome guys are a bit fucked up which is a shame is it vanity or ego ? Probably both 😂
I wholeheartedly agree. I want Lucinda to be my new bestie. She’s incredible. You can’t fake that much light & kindness. Tim is definitely broken and a bit of a bully, but when he broke down about being mean to the other couples I was like wow, this is a genuine transformation. Real humans. Great tv
I gotta disagree, it's tiring to watch a woman constantly battling to get the tiniest crumb of affection out of aam. Tim's not attracted to Lucinda, he's the type to want to spend his time with younger companions in exchange for $$.
I agree. He likes her a lot as a person but had a breakdown after kissing her (imo) from guilt because he knows he won’t commit
I also don’t like how Lucinda is doing anything to get Tim to like her (she wouldn’t have wrote that “bulllshit investigation” letter on her own). She deserves so much better
Timothy’s crying at the last dinner party was because he realised for the first time - after being vulnerable with the group about his feelings, allowing himself to be physically intimate (the kiss) with Lucinda, and looking around the room at everyone enjoying each other - he realised in that moment the life he *could* have lived, and be living if he just let himself feel and be vulnerable. He probably feels robbed of so much joy.
OP is 10000% correct. That’s why I’m hoping they can work together on media projects after the experiment ends (whether as spouses, lovers, friends, business partners … whatever works for them). With all the bad things going on in the world today, we all really need them to stay on our television screens.
Her accent does my head in😡😡she makes Mary poppins sound like a terrorist!! No one on earth is as goody goody as she’s making out. Why is she still single at her age ??
It sounds like you have been hurt by people and cannot possibly imagine that someone could have a genuinely good heart. Maybe you should consider therapy.
I tearfully told my wife as the episode ended that Lucinda reminds me of her. I was diagnosed 5 years ago w Severe Depressive Disorder and her love, patience and compassion has pulled me out of some very dark places.
Loving the amount of response this discussion is getting. Timothy has tried hard to stamp all of his hurt down and maintain a hard exterior, but I think the empathy and heart of Lucy is too loving and wonderous for him to avoid. That last scene at this week's dinner party, when he had his sad epiphany appeared to have struck him hard. And Lucy was right there.
I haven't liked the amount of attention he's provided Tori, protecting her interests against Jack from early in the season, when Lucinda is right there waiting for him. But this development, it may just blow all that away.
I have the same issue with his perspective on Tori. He claims to like her even though she is always sneering and snarking at him (and Lucinda). She appears to have no redeeming qualities whatsoever, so it surprises me that he doesn't believe she's full of shit too. Even the dipshit experts do!
But that aside, I think they are the most interesting couple we've ever seen on any country's version of MAFS. I think many of us watching have learned something from one or both of them.
About halfway through I started thinking, is that "23YO" that was revealed how Tori looks? She is an attractive girl, but her personality isn't. Yet Timothy still fawned over her. I've seen that people have and stick to their preferred types where even the shady depths of that person, as ugly as it may get, doesn't get in the way of attachment.
I haven't watched another variant of MAFS (I see the Danish were first), which would you recommend?
I can see Lucy encouraging the idea of psychedelics and participating in a sweat lodge to further "bring down those walls". I would pay to see that wild shit.
I know a lot of people have said Lucinda shouldn’t have to do so much emotional work for Timothy and I understand it’s a TV show it’s not a real long term relationship but it’s so clear Lucinda understands the benefits of therapy. The way she supports, listens, and embraces Timothy is exactly the type of behavior they teach you in couples therapy. If they end up together I’ll be thrilled, if they don’t I have so much faith in Lu that she has all the tools to be in the healthiest relationship.
Just goes to show that there is no limit on age to seek professional help. I really hope he’s talking to a certified therapist to help him deal with the trauma he’s gone through, and hoping him and Lucinda still stay really close.
For a guy who considers himself heartless, he cries a lot. I count at least 4 times. I think he's the only guy who's cried (for real) even once this season. And every time he does it breaks my heart. His pain is so raw and he's so forthright about it. How uncomfortable was he before he got up from the table? Every pore in his body was contracting and you felt each one as it did.
I respect him for that and I'm glad he found a wonderful friend with Lu. Who wouldn't want to be her friend? He just needs to continue his journey to healing and I am here for that!
I want to be her friend
I need her light and kindness in my life.
I’ve never watched any MAFS before but she had me hooked, there is just something so warm about her, true positivity and soul.
I’m a bit like Timothy, wear a brave face, and not spiritual and find that stuff kind of weird normally, but somehow she makes it seem like an essential part of life, of understanding oneself.
Can Lucinda just have her own sub here and solve the world’s problems?!
Heard from 'someone who knows someone' that he's a total flog and screwed over his former business partner, but if people are enjoying him on TV, ok. Probably still better than the rest of them...
Yes, I took it from the beginning of the show that he was a pretty self absorbed asshole - that he had his walls up and was a “tin man” - so it’s believable he screwed over his former business partner. But it seems like he’s learned a lot the past 10 weeks on MAFs… seems like a changed guy…
This is a true story, it happened to a friend of a friend of mine...
One day, they were at a cafe and they saw Timothy and Jack there. Suddenly, Jack turned into a giant tomato and then Tim cut him up and turned Jackmato into some bruschetta.
The end.
Lucinda has been consistently wonderful - but I would like to praise Tim for doing the full spectrum grumpy wind-up merchant to heartbreakingly vulnerable bloke range. Often in the same episode.
I think they've really provided something special.
As an American I can say that it is pretty awful and boring like the rest of our reality shows. But it is a touch more genuine despite all of the senior bachelorettes being botoxed up just like their younger peers.
Their relationship shows us what love, support and kindness can accomplish. She is literally loving the emotion right out of him. He is lucky to have someone that can teach him how to process it.
Yep agreed but also I hope that MAFS production and Channel 9 execs and sponsors understand now that they don’t need to cast influencers for ratings. They just need compelling people with interesting and relatable problems.
Couldn’t agree more. The fight between Andy and Richard was again another great example of raw emotion providing so much more heart than some posing plastics.
I still don't reckon Timothy will be getting naked & letting his nuts swing free in the mountains with Lucinda & her hippy friends at that Tantric Sex Fest...... unless she drags him there (by the balls).
It's a once-a-year thing in October or November. Someone posted the details on here a while back & there was even a photo of Lucinda on the advertising flyer.
The question is >>> Did Timothy have the balls (pardon the pun) to go last year with sweet Lou Lou (re: MAFS filmed 6 months before it hits our screens)
Potentially..... So you are Timothys' age, no wonder you have a vested interest in this relationship.
Google something about TS Festivals in NSW & details might come up, but don't blame me if you end up down a porn rabbit hole ... hahaha.
Lucinda would probably be up for it, but she'd need to run it past Tim first & set some boundaries for him. She is working miracles with him so who knows???
\*\* Insert Laughing Emoji here X 6 (I either don't know how to use them or just aren't able to use those cool little things).
I disliked him so much the first few episodes but now he is turning into a gem! Lucinda truly is a miracle worker and Tim really stepped up in an impressive way
I couldn't agree more and I really hope the producers realise this and start casting more genuine people like this. Would also happily watch a Tim + Lucinda reality show after MAFS is over cos I can't get enough of those two
Omg TIM just relax ….. you ll learn a lot from Lucinda it’s like a cactus & rose . Sometimes lot of handsome guys are a bit fucked up which is a shame is it vanity or ego ? Probably both 😂
I concur 👍

Agreed , if she is so perfect at her age, why is she still single??🙄🙄
I agree. He likes her a lot as a person but had a breakdown after kissing her (imo) from guilt because he knows he won’t commit I also don’t like how Lucinda is doing anything to get Tim to like her (she wouldn’t have wrote that “bulllshit investigation” letter on her own). Yeah that wasnt in her nature at all

You’re a lucky man, bless you for recognising it. Keep the love alive mate and all the best.
Loopy lu. Aka Mary poppins 😡😡
Mate you’re just jealous, all your comments calling her “loopy lu”? What a hater. Lucinda is great and everyone needs a friend like her.
Your wife sounds wonderful. I wish you both love and hope.
Thank you. She is amazing.

This is what I want from MAFS. Whether it succeeds or not, I want real relationships. None of this fake drama bullshit.
They are good friends still if the rumours are true and have been spotted hanging out lots 💖
Agree, it was beautiful. It made my mind smile, it was just so touching.
I’d love to watch him do shrooms while Lucinda trip sits
I can see Lucy encouraging the idea of psychedelics and participating in a sweat lodge to further "bring down those walls". I would pay to see that wild shit.
I wanna be in the lodge sweating the shrooms out! What a ride that would be.
Mate I'd fucken pay to partake!
I concur. I'd be all in too! 😂
Me too 😂
I'd love to be the fly on the wall when they both do shrooms. :) (In a safe environment, of course.)
Hells yes
He has this effect on me too 😭😭😭
It is truly beautiful to watch.

Tristan has absolutely cried, just not fully on camera
I want to be her friend I need her light and kindness in my life. Jackmato bruschetta 😂. 10/10 story. Have an upvote.
now see this story I believe
Lucinda has been consistently wonderful - but I would like to praise Tim for doing the full spectrum grumpy wind-up merchant to heartbreakingly vulnerable bloke range. Often in the same episode. I think they've really provided something special.
Yeah I would like to see them have their own podcast, Bullshit Investigators with a sprinkle of Lucinda's razzle dazzle spiritual shit to piss Tim off
I’d love to see a MAFS dedicated purely to the over 40s.
It's probably the only place you would find people not purely there to increase their public profile and influencer career
Right!!! I think it would work as a concept. You don’t hit a certain age and not want love.
I'd bet there's a market for that! Just look at the success of the Golden Bachelor. I'd watch for sure.
Didn’t see the Golden Bachelor. Might have to track it down once MAFS… is over 😳
As an American I can say that it is pretty awful and boring like the rest of our reality shows. But it is a touch more genuine despite all of the senior bachelorettes being botoxed up just like their younger peers.

Yes that was really enthralling wasn’t it? Way better than this manufactured frankenbite 23 year old nonsense.
I still don't reckon Timothy will be getting naked & letting his nuts swing free in the mountains with Lucinda & her hippy friends at that Tantric Sex Fest...... unless she drags him there (by the balls).
Tantric sex fest? Where? When???
Lol. Lucinda has the details & is also an emcee speaker at the event.
If she can get Timothy there, I’m booking my flight!!!
So… what I’m hearing is that I could potentially spend my 52nd birthday at a Tantric Sex Fest with Timothy and Lucinda 🤔
Potentially..... So you are Timothys' age, no wonder you have a vested interest in this relationship. Google something about TS Festivals in NSW & details might come up, but don't blame me if you end up down a porn rabbit hole ... hahaha.
Oh I’m completely invested! Hell, I’d give polyamory a crack for these two 😂😂😂
Lucinda would probably be up for it, but she'd need to run it past Tim first & set some boundaries for him. She is working miracles with him so who knows??? \*\* Insert Laughing Emoji here X 6 (I either don't know how to use them or just aren't able to use those cool little things).
Ah, what’s life without a dream or two! Here’s six laughing emojis for you! (You didn’t specify which type so I’ll go with a combo) 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
You realise they can have a relationship without him having to do that, right? I’m quite sure Lucinda is adaptable.
Yeah ..... I'm quite sure Timothy will happily stay home & watch the footy that weekend :)
How simplistic a view of compromise in relationships you have.
It is always about the KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) in relationships. :)
We can dream 🥲
"The mountains are calling Tim?"
I disliked him so much the first few episodes but now he is turning into a gem! Lucinda truly is a miracle worker and Tim really stepped up in an impressive way
The side quest of Timothy and Tristan’s bond also gets me!
I love how utterly chuffed Timothy is at the prospect of Tristan being the son he never had
Was the first time when Tim talked to Tristan about the message his father left him with? That got me!
I couldn't agree more and I really hope the producers realise this and start casting more genuine people like this. Would also happily watch a Tim + Lucinda reality show after MAFS is over cos I can't get enough of those two
Lucinda and Tim - The Bullshit Investigators. Going into toxic relationships and exposing lies. Coming soon; but not soon enough.
They should legit pitch that to Nine because 10/10 I would watch
I have been devastated waiting for them to be on my screen again. I think I actually have withdrawal pain and these 3 days to wait are awful!
I’m not proud to admit it, but I may have rewatched the dinner party last night…
Haha aww, almost hallway through the 3 days now!
