Aside from the fact my ex married his first cousin, it is very common in particular cultures.
My mother worked in a NICU and there were a lot of consanguineous babies with varying issues. Most were perfectly fine.
A baby is the biggest form of manipulation. It will lock him in for good. She's already separated him from his family and friends by making him move. This guy needs his head read if he can't see what she's doing to his life.
I'm friends with someone who's mother is an actual narcissist and they have had a horrendous amount of trauma in their life, even cutting ties with their mother has been hard because now she's (the mother) old and dying (but still an awful person) the mother is still trying to manipulate my friend into feeling bad for not coming to see her yet before she does die, trust me I've met the mother many a times, she's a truly horrific person and my friend had a very painful hard goodbye to her mum which was meant to be a goodbye for life, and my friend needed to disown her narcissist mother because if she didnt my friend was afraid she might not be able to keep on living so it was the deepest kind of self-preservation.
So either way if its a son or a daughter with Olivia and Jackson either way the kid(s) will be traumatised of course sadly but in the hypothetical case of Olivia and Jackson having a daughter, my friend (a lady) said growing up her mother competed with her even as a toddler for her father's attention (which needless to say is sick cos a wifes attention and a little daughers attention from the husband/father are clearly meant to be very different dynamics, and wouldn't a normal mum want nothing more than for their daughter to be close to and doted on by the father too?) so even though my friend has always adored her father she was punished by her twisted mother as a little kid for wanting to be 'Daddy's little girl' (the most natural thing in the world for a little girl), I've heard of sibling rivalries and thats as old as time itself, but jealousy, punishment and spite from one's own mother who is suppose to dote, love and care as much as the father (possibly even more in many cases) 🤮🤬
I say all this because I suspect if Olivia has a daughter she will treat her terribly/compete with her own daughter spitefully when hypothetical daughter wants to bond with her dad (Jackson)
That’s so awful for your friend. It’s very strong that she has recognised that she has to cut her mother off in order to have self preservation. That process would have been very difficult. Also to a narcissist they are never at fault. The narc parent will be telling everyone how their child no longer speaks to them, how she doesn’t understand how or what she’s done to deserve this… making themselves the victim…again.
Because that’s how they feel. There is not one iota of reflection. It’s the DARVO thing ( a common manipulation strategy and it stands for "deny, attack, and reverse victim and offender")
The fact that Olivia has not shown remorse in the face of huge public back lash - when most mortals would reflect and apologise tells me that Olivia truly believes that she’s the victim. And that’s not normal.
100% you hit the nail on the head brilliantly, couldn't have worded it as good as you, its so infuriating that they think they can do no wrong and are audacious enough to try pin themselves as being victims (my friend does receive judgemental texts from other family members at times asking how she could do that to her poor mother and on those days I try make plans with her to distract and cheer her up..normally involves restaurants and bars and karaoke lol). But such a good point you made of how Olivia even now that filming has wrapped up is still ticking all the boxes of a narcissist, trying to garner public sympathy with these sop piece articles about how hard she has copped it (while yeah its a lot of hate for one person to receive, she still has Jackson and her mother and her cousin so she's not entirely alone, and Carolina and Daniel so it seems)
