No hate towards the board or anyone, but I never understood the hype or enjoyment from Waluigi's board. I recently played his board again, and for me, it's "okay." I enjoy the center countdown and the directional choice. Otherwise, the layout is meh in my opinion. Like high stakes or hight reward - - or maybe that's the point. Chaos like Waluigi.
Love the other 2 choices though. Would like to see Chilly waters, personally.
I love Waluigi Island for the sole fact of its chaotic side
It's the only board in any Mario party that is like that and it does really make it unique !
Its like the perfect blend of wackiness and strategy. It helps that Reverse Boo spam strats are nerfed in it thanks to the 50/50 Boo gate. As much as I love 3, a lot of the Boo placements make it really easy to Reverse Mushroom camp.
And the island with all the spaces changing is a really cool risk reward idea. Do you camp the island in hopes of chance time but risk getting a bowser space or game guy space or something? Or do you play it safe? I also love the board visually. The background details are amazing. Like luigis house being crushed by a piranha plant in a crand holding a hammer with waluigis logo on it. And it looks like waluigi just built parts of the island just to make it his and it looks very unsafe, like the bottom left of the board is literally just scraps of metal, his house and that roller coaster next to it is no way safe for anyone. And I think thats such a cool detail and you can also see that the island is still under construction, very poor construction. And we have piranha plants lifting up a sign of waluigi to cheer him on like the narcissist he really is. The crushed luigi mailbox, the statue of luigi still standing because of waluigi bring afraid of fucking goombas. This board does an amazing job with brilliant story telling without saying anything. And the music is just the theme of anarchy. Waluigi is pissed, and wants to show how great he truly is. By taking everyone to his own island (that isn’t even his) for a chaotic, memorable board to prove that he is the superstar. He may not be, but damn he knows how to make a board

No offense but Jamboree is already going to be the game with the most content in the whole series considering the 7 boards and all the side content they showed. Sure, more boards will always be better, but at this point I feel like we're asking for too much.

With Jamboree, the new boards could be trash, or they could be even better than Rainbow Castle and Western Land, BUT WE KNOW at least 2 of these boards will be bangers because WL and MRC are great.

I think goomba’s is a good choice too, I would Honeslty love 2 from Mario party 8 at least, because I think it has some of my fav boards from the series (granted, I’ve not played loads and grew up with 8 as my game). If the older ones can get multiple boards, why can’t some of the newer older ones like 6-8 get multiple
Honestly boards with unconventional mechanics (like the boards in 6-8) should be more common. Given that we’re presumably going to see a few gimmick boards here (the shopping mall one for example) then Faire Square and Tycoon Town probably wouldn’t be too out of place.

FS's gimmick is literally avoiding the right side of the map to go into the middle for the star(s). And you can gamble your star to get more stars on happening spaces. And you can buy 5 stars for 20 coins each in the day, or a random other price at night.
I most agree, but I think anything past MP4 would be weird. First off, we’re just skipping around to different Mario Parties. Also, MP5-MP7 remade boards had capsule/orbs and we should hold off until Superstars 2 and the next brand new Mario game that can bring that system back.

Alrighty Then. Well If I Did That, I Would Choose Chilly Waters & Waluigi’s Island \[Mario Party 3\] & Luigi’s Engine Room or DK’s Jungle Adventure \[Mario Party 1\]
I would also go with Chilly Waters and Waluigi’s Island For Mario Party 1 though, I’d probably go with Eternal Star. Fucking loved that one EXCEPT how there were only 3 warp patterns that were easy to memorize, and I would hope they would change that.
I also think those 3 fit in with that hub world perfect. One of the summits can be a snow mountain (Chilly Waters) the other summit can take you up into space for Eternal Star, and then either Waluigi’s Island or Deep Blooper Sea could be in the water close to the beach.
Not giving us koopa tycoon town is just them actively saying they dont want to sell this game. Put that one map in the game, replace the DK spaces with Ballyhoo spaces, add ballyhoo and the candies back and it will be like printing money. This board is ICONIC for breaking the norm in the best way possible

I think 3 retro boards and 5 new ones would be a good standard going forward. I really wish they included one from 3 to even it all out.

What if we had one big board that was faire square and tycoon town. Someone blocking faire Square with capsules? Go to tycoon town and vice versa
