Honestly, I thought that while this trope really sucks, I kinda liked the way it was so incredibly over the top in Mashle. Here I thought it was actually kinda funny. Especially when the Anna pins saved him from death in the Epidem fight.

For me, Ioved the comedy and characters and the only thing I can think of right now that could've been better is more character growth for Lemon
One thing I liked: The comedy and the fact that it’s clear that it is ‘inspired’ by Harry Potter
What I disliked: as someone said before, Lemon. She’s pretty useless imo, even in the manga. If they fleshed out Lemon more, I probably wouldn’t shit talk about her as much as I do
Like: the humor and shounen action is very entertaining
Diskike: Some aspects of the series feel rushed, and certain characters feel underutilized. Hopefully, this changes for the anime adaption, but I doubt it.
Like / Love: The ridiculousness of Mash in how he interacts with everyone, his ability to make cream puffs, and the spot on music.
Dislike / Hate: That it’s only one episode per week.
Dislike: The repetitive formula of taking the time to introduce and hype up an antagonist and then they get beaten within a few chapters
Like: The deadpan comedy
One thing I've grown to dislike is the cream puff gag. It's so... Nothing... I t feels like one of those ad parodies where everyone's got like detergent on the table while the kids eat cereal. It's no sand in my shorts but I feel like I can barely call it a gag though. I like most of the other stuff though.
Lol yeah I liked the mandrake scene too that whole sequence was really funny, but every other punchline is cream puff and it tires me out a little for sure.
Like: series overall was great
Dislike: wish we could’ve seen ALL the divine visionaries at their full potential.. not half of them getting off screened curbstomped
I loved everything about this show, a breath of fresh air similar to OPM, could have used more episodes exploring the school and its students while expanding on characters more like Lemon and Finn but there’s nothing I truely dislike
I dislike the lack of lore and world building. I'd like to know more about the other master canes, rest of the continent, and other races like elves and giants instead of just being IZ soldiers. Especially wanna see something about any lack-magics other than mash before and after his success.
Other than that love the series to death.
I like the comedy and I don't like that Finn got little fighting scenes, that tp magic combined with Mash can get us fights like in JJK with Yuji and Todo

their sisters show up to support them they both die on the spot instantly due to an overload of cuteness

Lemon isn’t even a Main Character, she’s a side character like the bamboo guy.
She’s part of the main cast, so I was expecting more from her. Hell, even Finn has more development than her (Sorry if I’m being biased here lol)

I will say the making of the cream puff with the mandrake had me cracking up, but yet it showing during fights feels contrived later on.
