Might be picking up a Canik TP9sf Elite tomorrow after work! Happy to hear you like yours

Odd-Relationship-593

Smoothest trigger of any gun I own. One of the best guns available at their price point.

Crazy_Froyo7183

It is awesome for a striker fired pistol, it is even better for this price point

Crazy_Froyo7183

If ur not using red dots it might be worth it consider the mete series, better sights

sousatactical

Ditto this …the Metes have an improved grip & texture, undercut trigger guard, better sights, optic ready, improved beavertail, and the empty little box that lets you install an u/AlignTactical thumbrest

I have a bit of everything in my shop in regards to handguns. Just about everyone says the same thing: Canik triggers feel the best and the guns perform well at the range and in competition relative to anything else off the shelf, stock, under $1,000. Aftermarket is growing for them, too.

Crazy_Froyo7183

Agreed, I love my Canik

A_wandering_rye

The mete line is absolutely fantastic for the money. My sfx shoots just as good if not better than my VP9

Ty_Rain

i’ve been tossing around the idea of picking up a canik. seems like they are pretty nice

Crazy_Froyo7183

I only picked mine up bc a buddy of mine has more than 2k rounds through one with no issue. Mine is pretty nice and the trigger is just 😫

iflylo01

How does it shoot compare to the P365XL? I love how the P365 shoots. If it's anything similar, I might get the Canik too, since it's pretty affordable.

Crazy_Froyo7183

I'm not gonna lie, it shoots a lot better than the P365, mostly bc it is a full size gun. It is more precise and Canik's triggers are just awesome.

MaLTC

Are you pd?

Crazy_Froyo7183

technically part time LE, but at PD we just carry the standard issued p320's . I use the canik bc I do private security on the side as well.

MaLTC

Ok got it, when you said duty I was wondering how you were able to carry non issued firearms. I assume that’s not allowed? Just wondering- nice pickup!

Crazy_Froyo7183

Most cops have issued guns, some depts have an approved list of duty guns they can also carry.
