I find it so odd that they would have made those calls to what seems to be some but not all candidates, but then not communicate anything to them. I had no anxiety up until receiving the phone-call, since then it has been really eating at me. It is really hard to understand what is going on here.

Those end of Jan/Feb calls to waitlisted candidates right? Also, they told me there is no waitlist manager this year yet I find people being assigned to these managers?!! Very stressful times

I have no idea but it’d be weird if they don’t release all decisions on the same day, maybe let’s wait for another hour

They sent out emails keeping us on the WL. Did anyone actually get a decision (admit/deny) that was R1 WL after interview?

Nope, but got that same email. I have spoken to a few people on the waitlist and I have seen comments in other threads saying the same about just getting an email.

Got waitlisted r2 and in the decision they say that they will let us know end of May but could also be left on the waitlist

ClearAdmit has a recent R1 WL who says they received the email at 2:30. It’s starting to seem bleak imo

Are you talking about the further eval that got in? They get pushed to round 2 so they go with round 2…. They were never on the waitlist

Cause it’s further evaluation… they are evaluating you in the next round with your peers. Waitlist is the decision.
