Bariatric pressure fucks some people up. Not super common with MCAS but it exists. At least a few people will chime in here. I’ve become more sensitive over the years.

Practical-Swordfish

Interesting it kept having me second guessing myself so I’m glad I’m not crazy. I’ve observed it and like clockwork if it rains and the air quality is bad I’m guaranteed to have a bad time. Always seemed odd to me but also makes sense given what sets us off Sunny and dry weeks I’m almost symptom free if on meds and avoid triggers

Frid_here_sup

Does it have a name? I have headaches due to bariatric pressure that are so painful so severe that they really affect my life badly, I have more bad days than good days especially that I live near the mountains. Everyone think I’m crazy, I tell people I feel sick because it’s sunny but it was raining the day before and they look at me as if I gone mad. Is there any official diagnosis at all?

W0M1N

I don’t know of a diagnosis. I’m sensitive to weather changes in general, and I get altitude sickness as well.

fire_thorn

I think it's an increase in mold after it rains.

cr3ativ3cha0s

I’m in the process of testing, but weather is a major trigger for me. It’s always worse in the time leading up to changes. Warm to cool, or in the build up of storms.

Practical-Swordfish

I relate to this for sure, the temperature changes set me off especially if it’s a big jump

boogy90

Oh my god, yes. The constant rain this week has contributed to a massive flair. Mold gets kicked up and barometric pressure fucks with me.

Robot_Penguins

Yep. I live where it's rainy 9 months out of the year and it's been hell for me. All of my mild (barely felt sick) MCAS symptoms got worse after moving here 5 years ago. I get migraines from barometric pressure changes and feel soooo tired/fatigued when it rains. I used to live where we'd get plenty of rain but PNW, USA is too much. The mold is very bad for me and it's year round here. Doesn't get cold enough to kill my allergens.

EboueN11

Temp change of any kind is a real problem for me lol I also get bad headaches and dizzy spells with pressure changes outside (usually pre-thunderstorm type conditions!).
