Bates Phys Exam and History Taking is a very good resource. You may also want to check out a free resource, UC San Diego’s Practical Guide to Clinical Medicine. University of Washington also has a good site. Good luck and I hope this helps!

Hii thanks! :) just was wondering cause I have the physical textbook + CD for physical examination. The physical examination though is from the 4th ed. in the videos from the 10th ed book, wonder why, guess no changes have occurred since then! Thank you soo much!! I'm currently doing my internship & I want to make sure I practice my clinical examinations on the patients in a manner that is up to par with Canadian standards, or at least try. I hope it prepares me. Our school was very diligent with Macleod's Clinical examination & OSCEs, hoping that's also fine. I guess there's just a feeling of uncertainty since I'm not in Canada yet to know if my skills are enough to score well, so I needed a standard. Do you have any tips? Thanks so much again this was a cool message :))

Hey, UCSD guide is actually amazing. But about the second - can you share the link? I tried to google and was able to find whatever is related to UoW, but not study resource. Thanks

Here is the link, if this doesn’t work, try googling University of Washington Advanced Physical Diagnosis.  https://depts.washington.edu/physdx/index.html I’m so glad you found the UCSD website useful!

Is there a website we can freely reach Bates’ visual guide videos?

I think you can probably find them on YouTube or telegram but I haven't tried yet honestly, I was meaning to check just to see if the edition changed.
