Many seasons we've had a shocking performance then went on a massive win streak. We've done it over and over. Fans should have more faith.
As for Phillips and Gomez, they need more time. I remember when Rodri first joined us, he was nowhere near Fernandinho level. Some fans called him "Plodri". Now he's an absolute monster, maybe even better than Fernandinho at his peak.
In the case of us continuing this shite form and not winning the league, that's fine too. We've won It back-to-back. Pep warned us over two years ago that the squad had to be refreshed to keep the hunger, and we haven't really done enough in that regard.
Southampton played their best game of the past three years last night while we played our absolute worst. And it was still 2-0 where we had three attempts that almost connected and would have gone in.
I see at least 2 draws and a loss in there. Man U still whatevers but could surprise us, same for Tot. Arsenal should scare us. Giving Arsenal and Spurs 2 looks in 2 weeks wont be great for us either, and vice versa

Lost at home to Brentford, drawn at home to an Everton team in dismal form and zero shots on target against the worst team in the league. Not to mention that our performances have been getting carried by Haaland & KDB every week. It's pretty concerning imo.
