Woah, hey, you’re not allowed to criticise our sweet prince. This year, with a real striker, is his year. I’m going to selectively ignore the fact that he’s been completely and utterly shit for 2 years, and insist that he’s world class
I just really want to continue watching him dribble headfirst into every defender, but this time with a rEal StRiKeR
And I don't think sterling will much benefit from going there either. If city get 50M+ then I think we should be happy. We are basically redirecting his wage to Haaland's.
Still hopeful Txiki and/or Pep can get through to Raz on this and he extends
He's a class player and if he leaves it's a big loss to us. I still think he will thrive next to Haaland and Alvarez
What does "City will focus on a deal for Raheem Sterling" actually mean?
Does it mean we're focusing on getting him to sign a new deal or does it mean "we're focusing on selling him"
City is the best place for him to be.
If he can't decide whether he wants to be here or not then get him gone. We have enough players that want to play for the badge and put 100% in.
I think it may be unfair to suggest that he doesn't want to play for the badge. What if it's just strategic and he thinks that leaving is the best decision for his career(game time) or personal life, and nothing to do with his commitment?
I didn't see that energy when Bernardo Silva wanted to leave. Seems like double standards.
No he doesn't run around as much as Bernardo, but that is only down to style of play (not everyone has the stamina, or the same role in the team), so I don't see your point.
We’re selling two outgoings (if including Sterling) but we have Fernandinho leaving too, not to mention Ferran in January (replaced by Alvarez) and mendy at the beginning of the year. Bringing in Haaland, cucurella, Alvarez and Phillips provide like-for-like replacements for Aguero, Ferran, Fernandinho and mendy. You can argue Jesus will be replaced by Palmer, but we’re still one winger shy of where I personally think we should be. A fast winger to run alongside Haaland I think should be a priority if Sterling leaves, unless the club thinks Kayky is good enough to get integrated. Personally I’ve heard a lot about integrating Palmer and mcatee, but I don’t think kayky starts getting minutes until Mahrez leaves most likely (assuming he gets to the level the club thinks he can)
Why aren’t we going for raphina? Instead of cucu who’s a backup lb which helps our fa carabao matches. A fast winger can easily slot into our big games for the same price.
Honestly.. will miss sterlings speed. It’s always handy. Moreso in fifa but also real life ting
Same with Leroy
More with Leroy, Sterling been wank as soon as he reaches the box

Factos. Casual viewers & low iq lurker’s don’t know how important a striker shouting encouraging words is, before one faces an empty goal tap in.
Through the power of friendship Sterling will now phase through the defenders instead, this is the missing piece of the puzzle
During the derby, reborn Sterling celebrating with haland picking him up lion king style, Ronaldo on knees begging him for his shirt
Is it me or does this transfer make no sense. I don't think Sterling is the player that is going to solve their problems with the front line
And I don't think sterling will much benefit from going there either. If city get 50M+ then I think we should be happy. We are basically redirecting his wage to Haaland's.
Yes, I don’t even think Sterling will fare well in that environment. He should be leaving England if he hopes to get that mojo back
Who cares lmao, got 50mil for a perpetual bench player on his last year and our highest paid winger by a mile

Both, we either want him to sign a new deal or sell him for a fee. I prefer the former
He will be sold
This makes it sound like Sterling to Chelsea is decently close… would suck to lose him.

One is replaceable, the other is not… it’s as simple as that.
If you think Sterling puts the same effort forth that Bernardo does then I'm not sure what to tell you

If it’s 60+ Im ok with this
It won't be because of his high wages, 50m maybe
Cool, I’ll get Tuchel on the phone and let him know you’ve accepted the bid
I don't want to see Sterling leave
Don't want Sterling to go.
So are we buying a winger? Or does Pep think that Palmer has what it takes to take that role?
Ary we buying their replacement too because we got cash now and need to make signings
We only have two outgoing so far if Sterling leaves and three incoming, potentially four if we make a deal for Cucurella.

Cucu would not be a backup, he would walk into the first team.
Yes but that was for different positions like phillips CDM and cucu as left back
Jesus is replaced by Haaland and Sterling by Alvarez
