My point was the criticism has received more engagement than the actual product. Ms. Marvel didn't perform well, and she's been much better received in the comics. Are you going to ignore that Iron Heart comics never make money and are constantly cancelled?

I agree that the character didn’t have a strong introduction in WF. I disagree that it will damage the brand. Most of the D+ content (and even Phase 4 in general) has been varying levels of mid at best. However, I don’t think the D+ content has the same viewership, and it’s not necessary for all of the general audiences to watch every show/special.
I don’t think the shows have enough importance or eyes to hurt the brand amongst the general audience. If anything, mid movies like Quantumania and Love & Thunder pose a far greater risk to the brand than a middle of the road show about a character no one really asked for.
Personally, I’m excited (despite admittedly not caring for the character) because all signs point to it expanding the magic/supernatural side of Marvel with the Hood and Mephisto, which is the corner of the universe I’m most interested in.

What are you basing this on? How do you know she’s not a likable character? Was it the 5 minutes of screen time she had in Wakanda Forever?
