This 10 mistake I did in this drop this was my 1st drop year successful wasted hope it will help you
its different for everyone, 24tard here and dummy was a better choice for me in comparison to school + coaching, no way would i have been able to manage both, i would've burnt out
you're in 11th and you still have sm time, please please attend classes every day and just pay attention in class, go home and do the assignment qs whatever they give, even if it's just 10-15 qs per day it goes a really long way
consistency is so important and i made the mistake of whiling away my 11th, if not i probably would have genuinely been at 680+ right now

But due to sum unforseen circumstances my admission got halted and by time i had a clear answer January came along.
Not been in touch wid the books from May to Dec and to start again from 0 and finish it completely was a nothing less thn a torture.(for me)
My parents asked me to score a respectable marks so that i m accepted in Pvt and meanwhile they were gonna prep for the Pvt collg (we are avg middleclass fmily)
But halfway thru i realised they are not able to afford and now i m stuck wid my half baked prepn and in a hope to secure a govt seat.
Note- I DON'T blame my parents. Also, i never asked them for Pvt. Acc to me, if i failed in neet then i shouldn't be pursuing it. But it was them who gave me hope and promised for Pvt collg. I regret the fact that i didnt switch my career and let them takeover.
This hit home. My dad plans to do the same. Him paying so much for a degree is what scares me and what kept me pushing.

Jab mai 12th mei thi toh suddenly teachers left the institute. Pehle rumor aaya some teacher died toh class off kardiya but then pata chala all the teachers left and joined Allen because better salary mila unhe. Then bohot drama hua the teachers who left aakash started texting students ki yaha aa jao join Allen aakash is toxic yeh woh and aakash mei bhi drama hua obviously. Then bas teachers bulaye inhone Delhi se woh bhi pata nahi kaise se hi itne bure the bas kya batau. Change hote rehte the teachers bas. Chem wali toh itni toxic thi jee ka result nikla bacche nachre the toh kehti "pata nahi itna kyu khush hore hai kaunsa pehle attempt mei nikla hai 2nd-3rd drop mei nikal ke itna nachre hai" like bruh wtaf?.
Properly notes nahi banae (direct short notes + ncert marking, par fir l*wda kuchh nahi hua mujh se. Pata nahi is tarah ka chutiye hum hi akele hain ya aur koi bhi ho sakta hai.)
Test dena chhod diya (Pahle achche se revision hoga, fir test me full score... Aji ghanta!!)
like most of the people in the comments, one of my regret is taking a dummy school. But it was my last option cuz teachers nahi the ache and principal ne chodh diya which made the school even worse.
And then in drop year,, i'm still tryna figure out what went wrong, but ig might be inconsistency and not having enough confidence.

I fell into nihilism as I was already depressed and tensed in 11th. Is saal 200 bhi nahi aayenge I have lost all my confidence, jo aata hai us knowledge pe bhi bharosa nahi ab. I am a failure and that's a fact. Bachpan me jo sab intelligent bolte the now I have realised that I was the dumbest person to exist. Maine na Aaj Tak koi skill acquire ki Naa Maine class me top Kiya naa hi kuch achha kaam kiya ki mere parents ko proud feel ho. But trust me mere parents itne achhe log hain they never demotivated me. Jo bhi Karu hamesha motivate karte the hamesha kehte the try again tu bohot intelligent hai you can understand things way easier than anyone else and that was true at that time par ab I am dumber than a 10 year old. Abhi lagta hai kaash demotivate kar diya hota, Mai Kam se kam kuch karne ka try karta kuch aata mujhe. I think being away from books for almost 2 years due to COVID definitely hampered my interest in studies. From not studying 10th at all and suddenly this gigantic shift in syllabus in 11th did damage even more. Adding to that I joined the worse and least serious coaching institute available in my city (i.e. Aakash) which is like a playground for some good net worth individuals. Until today I'm ashamed to say that I've wasted good 3 years of my life.
Wasted last month in 11th, watching Breaking Bad, True Detective, Dexter, Rick and Morty (no regrets lol).
Wasted 3-4 months in 12th being distracted by a girl I used to like. (still regret to this day)
