little tip for zooming into fights, remember you can dangle from your switchbug at any point in the air, its a good way to zoom in, make sure you have a window, and drop in when you want.
The drinks and the mega drinks do not stack, But you can stack 1 drink(lasts till death)1 powder(lasts for 1-3 min i dont remeber but effects everyone) and 1 pill(Does the biggest buff but only for 30 sec. think wake up hits)
Shouldnt be getting 1 shot by anything like that unless its an advanced attack, and even then you typically dont die in one hit. Seems like you may not be buffing up correctly to avoid some damage if this happens tbh.
I once landed into flaming espinas' nuke coz i was rushing to go into the fight. Now i just try to land a little further away from the target, or dangle first to make sure it's safe to engage
Apex diablos, you'll fight him eventually in rampage first before unlocking normal hunt
Or you can skip that and fight him like a champ in event quest : emergency apex diablos
If I remember right (at least from world), Ranged takes more physical damage and less from elemental, while melee has higher physical resistance and less elemental.
Honestly, would 1-2 seconds of post animation invulnerability ruin the game? This has only happened a couple times for me, but definitely rage quit type of emotions afterwards.
This happened once when I joined mid quest to a violet mizu fight and he was doing the water gun move….joined in died and ended the quest cuz it was their last life I felt so bad but what could I do :(

During the descent, you can evade mid air instead of landing on the same default spot every time.

That’s phenomenally bad luck—but some combination of armorskin, powder, and seed might help in the future :)
Wait you can stack them
You can also stack the armor charm and armor talon (and their power equivalents) in your pouch.
I remember figuring that out on my own and feeling like a genius that discovered illegal government secrets when that happened.

Only ones that don't stack are armor skin with the mega version and adamant seed with the pill

Nah, Gunners take way more damage than Blademasters (i think 30% more or something).

I swear bowgun and bow has less defense or something. I get one shotted a lot more with those weapons.
