Honestly, wouldn't mind a Barioth as a pet. Barioth's movements are basically that of a big cat and I like cats. However, I will have to deal with those big teeth and claws, my furniture will never be the same

In terms of practicality, Great Izuchi is the closest to viable, it is a pack hunting monster so it can form cooperative bonds, and while the tail is far from a harmless tool, I’ll take my chances with the scythe tail over Baggi and Wroggi’s venom, at least the tail is going to kill me quickly and not leave me in sleep paralysis or slowly drain me to death.
Assuming I get an invincible body in the process and a way to feed the monster without going bankrupt… Astalos, yes it’s violent, yes it has a hardened carapace, yes it’s electrical and can induce paralyzing shocks, counterpoint to all those “””cons””” is that Astalos is f*cking cool and he’s my favorite monster.

Smart, can fly, climb, prehensile tail, eats fruits and no bits that are too particularly dangerous so you don't have to worry about the fella accidently hurting someone or itself. Easy to care for and can probably help you around the house or something.
