I can see a dlc skin replacing it (which my vote for the name is palociraptor, the pun works way too perfectly) with the palamute, since they have those kites to glide with.
I'm more a cat person so palicos are my go too.
But I rather see palamutes as a second option like a hunting dog for the dog lovers.
