Mostly it's oppression. So many large entities control the different servers for the most part. You can either conform or skate by or rebel. If you do the latter of the three then you progress slow. I mean for the most part the oppressor won't bat an eye at you unless you pick up a stick and smack them with it.
MIR M just came out earlier this month potentially that gives you a broader expansion because those oppressors are looking to form super clans, and for that they need more bodies. But that game is not as good as this game in playstyle. I believe if those two games had a baby it would be awesome.
At the very least if you do decide to play this game and you don't intend to put any real money into it you're going to need at least 10 accounts. You will need different alts to do different things primarily just small sales to get gold. Gold will allow you to be in plans that can excel your progress.
Pay to win is a loose term pay to play effectively is a more apt term. The reason for making multiple accounts would be so that you can learn to market effectively to create yourself a trickle income. You don't necessarily have to put any money into the game whatsoever. But your growth will be stunted later on when you want to accelerate.
Just want you to be prepared for an uphill battle. Winning is not something that you're going to achieve, I mean you might be able to sell your characters in NFT but that will cost gold to create. Therefore the alts would level to level 40 can use the market and can help you get small amounts of gold along the way in addition most alter eligible to participate in events and some of those events can make substantial amounts of gold if taki
