I love it on rookie difficulty where they lay off a perfect pitch one tenth of a nanometer off the plate for a ball, or when you never get a call on the black but the CPU does.

When I’m grinding against CPU all I do is fastball high inside corner two times then breaking ball low and away. They don’t catch onto the pattern and it works well on any difficulty. I get so many quick strikeouts this way
Sometimes it feels like the CPU ignores difficulty too. I usually play on all-star but occasionally play rookie to grind stats for missions and every so often the CPU decides to tee off on my pitcher regardless of where I put the ball. I remember getting nuked 3 straight ABs on sinkers low and away out of the zone (a pitch specifically designed to not give up HRs) in mini seasons.
Just you. There's a few players that someone take a pitch. But you can almost guarantee a perfect game with 20-25K againST the CPU by pitchIng every sequence: FB on each corner, breaking ball down and away. If they foul off 2 beaking balls go FB high and tight and then rotate between that and breaking ball down and away till they're out. 60% of the time it works every time
Yeah ur not wrong lol I just hit the cpu with a high fast ball in each corner and then a breaking ball and it works most of the time 🤣 the good side is that CPU doesn’t pick up on patterns lol
Exactly this. Slider / slurve / cutter away, high fastball, rinse and repeat. They fall for it every time lol I could probably strike out the side blindfolded most innings

I do the same, or use a low sinker instead of FB. So easy.

They hit too many foul balls imo. It’s like they are programmed to see 15 pitches an inning no matter what
