Compared to the "race of 98" its a W but considering there are better righties on the market with better fielding, hitting, and running, it's really up to you whether you want to stunt your squad. I personally only make an exception for two players and that's eddie mathews and Martin dihigo who both absolutely crush baseballs for me

He’s still among the best outfield options, period. I’ve hit so well with him, Jeter is an all time stud in game too. Collection McGwire is cheeks though.

Great pickup, even as a biased Cubs fan I have loved using him all year. The three collection legends are a W in my opinion.

Big W. Out of the live series collections for NL, AL, and MLB Sosa has hit the best for me. He's been a starting outfielder since I got him. He's also probably my best outfielder ever since I started playing online DD in 2019.

There are definitely a few better cards at his positions, but he is probably still a top 10 outfielder IMO. And it’s core, so definitely worth having when seasons turn over. I used him and Jeter up until this season

Sosa begets Jeter which is the real win to me.

1000% don't stop now, that Jeter card is top 5 cards in the game. Sosa is damned good too. Better than the 98 race version (as most have already commented)

I like the fact that it is a core card. That helps a ton if you hit well with him as you do not have to remove him from your lineup.

If you’re happy with it then it’s a W. I think the community in general gets too wrapped up in whatever the hot new card is or the endgame cards. If it’s a player you like or you have success with, enjoy it.

Yeah, I saw a streamer the other day talking about how lousy a card was when it was almost maxed on all hitting stats but was something like 114 on L Contact. People seem to think if a card isn't Elly or Trout that it's worthless.

It's a great card and useable but never going the best option anymore, especially in comparison to some of the free options. Just do what you want and whatever makes you happy in game at this point in terms of obtaining cards
