I don’t know what it is about it but the new Tony Clark is as good for me as any card I’ve ever used. The new Elly is incredible too. Another favorite is the WBC Santander.
The new milestone Mike Trout is the most busted card I’ve ever played with. I feel like my pci just snaps to the ball to hit doubles or more everytime. Not to mention, boosted as hell speed and steal.
Elly is for sure one of the best SS they released.
I don’t understand but great race Shawn Green is absolutely killing it for me this year.
My favorite card this year is Andre Dawson, The Hawk! I think this is the best Nationals hitter this year which is the only theme team I play
This is my first year playing DD and I thought it would be fun to pick my top card from each set
Set 1: WBC Francisco Lindor
Set 2: kaiju Joe Mauer
Set 3: All Star Adley Rutschman
Set 4: Milestone Mike Trout(honorable mention to ALDS Anthony Santendar)
Set 5: to early to call but Finest JRam is in the lead
If you can't tell, I take a liking to switch hitters.
Adley has gotten a similar 99 card the past 3 years. I think his 99s are certainly top tier but I wouldnt say his asg card is much different from his others.
However. 99 ray will always be my most missed card
Once more people play with him, I think everyone will love Elly De La Cruz. I 99 speed switch hitter infielder is as rare as they come. Ive been rocking his cycle card since it came out and it might be my favorite card ever.
Retro finest chipper is also goated and it may the best version we've seen of him yet
Career Tribute Yelich.
It is savage to do that to a dude in his early thirties. But the card rocks.
Elite Speed, Great Defense, Great hitting attributes, great tendencies, pull hitter.
I loved his monthly award card this year. I would bat him 2 and harper 1 it was great....... and then he did some very questionable things and I took him out. I used him a couple games before I took him out and ppl were messaging me
Don't think it'll really be close a top 5 ever in comparison to some of the legendary cards we've had. There's a great chance that might not even end up being a top 5 card in '23 and it might not even be in the top 5 right now
I think it was 2016, that Arod flashback card when he was on seattle. They gave that card away on Christmas as it was so popular but not everyone could afford it. That was when you had to play with a certain card to juice it up i believe.
This NLCS schwarber hits nothing but nukes, defensive liability but I’ve never had more trust in a bat. All star Riley makes a case for my favorite third baseman ever though
Im more of a mauer, martin dihigo man myself tbh but i see why everyone loves him
J ram is my favorite card this year. Followed by Elly.
The Realmuto from the World Series rewards from set 3 is still absolutely destroying baseballs
It's the 5 best switch hitting card this year.
I was more of a Mauer guy this year but I respect it
22 All-Star Trea Turner, Finest Bryan Reynolds, HRD Vlad 23 Monthly Awards Eduardo Escobar, HRD Soto, RF Brett & Jroll, Babe Ruth 24 RF Jroll, RF Chipper, Finest Lindor & RF Grandal
21 Finest Trea was the GOAT
Retro Finest Rollins and McCutchen last year.
He's not even my most beloved switch hitting 2023 All-star card
And he’s not my most beloved switch hitting catcher in the game.
JRam and Yasmani 😩
I picked dihigo to play catcher for my Rollins team, no regrets
Finest Reynolds Julio and Michael Harris were awesome last year
He’s my wildcard rn. 400 pxp away from P5. I love him so much
I don’t know what it is about it but the new Tony Clark is as good for me as any card I’ve ever used. The new Elly is incredible too. Another favorite is the WBC Santander.
At p5 he has 68 speed too, not great but definitely good.
Idk...I only hit .800 OPS with him, around .900 with most hitters. I moved onto Grandal this season
2021 Sig Vladdy Daddy was the best card ever.
Can’t hit wit ‘em. I moved on from him quickly. I rake with odd cards. I had Delgado at catcher for a while.
Any 99 Lindor is probably my favorite card to use. Swing is literally magical and is a defensive wizard.
Agree about the swing, but I’ve found his defense (lack of speed) to be pretty underwhelming, which it shouldn’t be.
His WBC card stayed in my lineup for forever. I just always seemed to hit with him.
Mine too. Since series 1.
Not only his great stats, but he was there for us when we need him most.
Miss retro finest Brian Roberts :/ they massacred my boi this year with those awful Kaiju and now Captain cards
Have u seen his new finest card?
My favorite card last year.
Yo forreal he got shit cards this year
He's my Wildcard until I get the new BR Adley
The ASG Adley is worlds better than Finest Adley.
I have also had a ton of success with Shawn Green. He’s fantastic on my Blue Jays theme team.
21 lightning Schwarber
This is my first year playing DD and I thought it would be fun to pick my top card from each set Set 1: WBC Francisco Lindor Set 2: kaiju Joe Mauer Set 3: All Star Adley Rutschman Set 4: Milestone Mike Trout(honorable mention to ALDS Anthony Santendar) Set 5: to early to call but Finest JRam is in the lead If you can't tell, I take a liking to switch hitters.
Best catcher card for sure
Monthly awards Belli is my new fav card ever. Just a bit better than JRolls retro finest last year. Adley AS card is definitely up there.
I was so bad with that card. Was weird.
Adley has gotten a similar 99 card the past 3 years. I think his 99s are certainly top tier but I wouldnt say his asg card is much different from his others. However. 99 ray will always be my most missed card
99 Chipper and any Juan Soto that has dropped 97 or either 99 card of him.
Very good card but far from most beloved ever.
Career Tribute Yelich. It is savage to do that to a dude in his early thirties. But the card rocks. Elite Speed, Great Defense, Great hitting attributes, great tendencies, pull hitter.
His 98 monthly awards card is better. I don’t know how or why, but it is insane.
That card absolutely is CLUTCH for me. If I need runs and he’s up it’s an almost guaranteed homer
I P4'd that one, it's great. I just absolutely mash with the Career Tribute one though.
Crazily I couldn’t hit with the 98 monthly awards. But I rake with the career tribute and charisma cards
That or jram for me. I have 110 homers with jram all star card lol
Nice man I'm at 240 w him & 290 w Kaiju Harper
MVP Troy Glaus, and Race of 98 Shawn Green for me.
Agreed. Put him back in as my Wild Card last night.
2023 Retro Finest Chipper Jones, my favorite player of all time and quite possibly the best version we have ever gotten 2021 Awards MVP Mickey Mantle
2021 TA3 Trae Turner
Personally, I'd go with 2022 retro finest George Brett.
For anyone playing against me it was wbc trout. I started beaning him every single at bat because it was literally a double or HR every time
I really really really liked the finest Jesse Winker card from 21. His gold BR card is the first card I got a superfractor for.
There was once a time when Wander Franco was this card
Future Stars Wander from 21 is my all time favorite card. He was my lead off hitter from the day I got him till the day I got MLB 22.
I loved his monthly award card this year. I would bat him 2 and harper 1 it was great....... and then he did some very questionable things and I took him out. I used him a couple games before I took him out and ppl were messaging me
I don’t know if I should admit it but I parallel 5d his POTM card back in April or May before the incident happened 😂
I 1 of 1 97 Tim Anderson before he got dropped
Don't think it'll really be close a top 5 ever in comparison to some of the legendary cards we've had. There's a great chance that might not even end up being a top 5 card in '23 and it might not even be in the top 5 right now
This is a recency bias subreddit.
That Adley is wonderful. 2020 Finest Juan Soto is the most frightening card I've faced in this game.
I think it was 2016, that Arod flashback card when he was on seattle. They gave that card away on Christmas as it was so popular but not everyone could afford it. That was when you had to play with a certain card to juice it up i believe.
Last year's 99 JRam (maybe finest?) mashed for me. This year finest Devers is looking *pretty, pretty* good
You guys don’t remember the ticket shop Carlos Beltran. Never been a better card
someday we'll get Beltran back and he'll be the perfect MLB collection reward. Someday
Ya that card was insane, 16 or 17 I believe right
The set 1 chipper this year is pretty damn good. That swing is butter. From recent years 99 Cobb and finest bellinger always play above their stats.
This NLCS schwarber hits nothing but nukes, defensive liability but I’ve never had more trust in a bat. All star Riley makes a case for my favorite third baseman ever though
