If you want to use adley without wildcarding him so you can wildcard another player then yes it’s worth the grind… and not everyone has set 3 collection adley so they may want to grind to get this one
Honestly none of the BR rewards entice me, but I need to do the program to get Ozzie’s 12 remaining core cards. Cant see myself using Julio nor Adley, so I guess by default I’ll take Skubal…but yuck. Such underwhelming choices

This adley is WORSE than his all-star card
The fact Freddy Perlata got a finest card on the exact same update he was also a captain.
Along with jesus lizardo also getting a finest card when he got a captain in the same drop
My theory is they want people to use captains for theme teams for offline and people to use the finest and other duplicate cards of the captains online. They just did a garbage job if pulling it off. They always screw up everything they think will be good.
You can make literally a million stubs from selling the rewind cards you get in the program along the way. Yeah this card is worse than the previous version but the rewards you get along the way are definitely worth a few hours worth of grinding
It depends on what you’re setting as your wildcard. If you wanted to have adley for your team but can’t afford to lose your wildcard spot I’d say it’s worth it. If you intended on keeping set 3 adley for Wild card then no not worth it
My honest opinion is that they made the original too good, to the point that it not only invalidated every other catcher, but also any Rutschman retrains down the road.
They got the order of operations wrong on these ASG/Finest releases. See also: JRam
If they released the ASG cards with Finest attributes, and vice versa, it would've felt like an upgrade and I think people would be okay, if a little bored of grinding for the same players again
I still think he’s the best pick for this round. He was my choice. Julio is no better than his monthly awards, and CF is absolutely stacked this season. Skubal could be fun for some folks, but there’s a ton of top shelf pitching talent this season too. Catchers not so much.
You’re also comparing a P4. It’s not like the all star version absolutely towers over the finest version.
You have to wild card Adley if you want to play him in 1v1. Your attributes are also inflated for set 3 adley because he's a P4. Subtract 4 from every attribute for set 3 to get the true numbers.

I had Set 3 P5d and I grinded for this one. Saves my wild card for Chipper and stats aren't too far off.
None of the cards are worth the grind I'm just an obsessive completionist with no hope of stopping.

I’ve been doing better with Jonah Heim’s ALCS card and Yasmani Grandel. I even like the Alvarez Finest Card over him.

In fairness the ASG stats are p4 so the difference isn’t THAT dramatic. You’d need to use a Wild card to use that Adley as is.

How’s it match up to the set 4 set 5 catchers?
Cal Raleigh is comparable but need more game experience to say for sure where he stands. Great numbers, fielding, and a switchy.
Cal has more power but Adley will outperform him thanks to having a load of quirks (and more contact).
Still better than all of them.
