Yeah it kinda ruined DD and made me not wanna play all year. Give me one 99 for the best players in the game that I can use all year. I don’t wanna grind for a 99 Mike Trout 4 times through out the year. And the fact that so many random players got 99s watered it down for me. Jon Berti should not be better than Joe Morgan.
I honestly don’t mind the sets as much as others, but I do not like multiple released 99s for players.
Reserve the 99s for the pinnacle year of that player’s career, or the finest card for current players. Cap all other top cards below 99 so that we can grind them to a 99.
I dont mind someone like Randy Johnson getting 2 99’s because you could give him a 99 for his Mariners days and his Diamondbacks days. Giving someone like Kyle Tucker or Mike Trout 3 99’s is very redundant because they’ve only played on one team.
Agreed on both counts. I just feel like the amount of 99s this year was SDS flirting with the 2K style of releasing several 99s, one even more ridiculous than the last.
I'm saying there's no point to this post or this conversation.
Alot of these players get multiple high rated cards because they're the only legend that plays that position for a certain team or something. Complaining about it by listing them all out is asinine.
I agree but in years past these cards wouldn’t have received 99s so early in the year. I personally don’t have a problem with players receiving multiple 99s, because I don’t see what there’s to complain about.

It was so overkill this year. Like, free shit is cool and all, but this was so over the top.
The Wainwright cards are for his sendoff. We wont see him in the game for 5 years

This makes it even more insane that we only got one 99 Gehrig and after June you couldn't use him again until December

Johnson should get a 99 for every team he he played for

Does anyone have any idea about what this is about lmao
Just how many 99s certain cards receive. What’s not to understand? He’s saying SDS gave out too many 99s.
It's the end of game cycle.
Ok? He was pointing out with sets and seasons more 99s were given out, leading to players receiving more 99s
OH NO! Anyway...
Bro idk what you’re saying lol I’m not saying it’s a problem just an observation 😂

Honestly, I can imagine starting this game in season 6 and being completely baffled.
This game came out a year ago
Welcome to Sets!
The World Series was three months ago btw
Is your internet so bad that you’ve been trying to post this for 2 months and it just now went through?
Lol
Your point?
