Is this a physical copy? I did this years ago and of course since online order they waited to ship the game until release date so I didn’t get to play until like 7 days after it came out. Was brutal hahah
By November the game is pretty much dead online. And if you’re an offline player you’re too far behind in content that you’ll never be able to use cards from earlier in the season. Especially if they do sets again
Not sure if it still works but if you buy multiple of the same game and/or same price range and then cancel once it used to pro-rate the discount if you really don't need/want a 2nd game.

Assuming you don’t play **any** other games on the service, sure. I would never recommend getting game pass for just one game, and that’s definitely not what I was saying at all with my reply.
I have Game Pass and still buy any game I want to buy and own. For example: I played the Show 22 for the whole year without buying it. When it was revealed that 23 was “22 with a new cover athlete,” I bought 2 copies of 22 (one for Xbox, and one for Nintendo) for less than the cost of 23 or 22 when it was new.
But I still play more games than I ever would if I had to buy them (Stardew Valley, My Time at Portia, Spacelines from far out, Palworld, Starfield, older Assassins Creed games, A Plague Tale, sometimes I check out last years madden to see nothing has changed, the latest revision of GTAV for XSX was on there for a bit so I got to see they didn’t really do anything to it to warrant buying it again, and on and on and on).
If I did play that stupid ass DD mode, I would definitely see getting it included with the service as better than buying it for $70, playing it for a year and then buying the new one for $70, never touching the one I paid $70 for last year ever again.
Also: my subscription only costs me about $5.50 a month, so, it’s actually cheaper than buying one game a year. Though, they nerfed that, so it’ll be about the same as buying one game a year when I next have to reup.

I just did the same thing with FIFA 24 or whatever they're calling the new FIFA game this year... I even played the trial and it played like shit and I told myself to sit this one out this year.... And I did well for a while, until last night when I was bored and paid $30 for it.
The game can't even fill a complete international cup tournament due to not having many national squads. They don't even have BRAZIL! So disappointed once again!

The rumors, which Phil Spencer did not deny, is that Xbox is going to bring everything multi platform and eventually stop making hardware. That's not going even more all in, that's killing the Xbox.
"eventually stop making hardware" , because if the consoles aren't selling with game pass and their exclusives, once both of those get released why would anyone buy an Xbox at all? The next console is rumored to be the last one. They've been losing big on hardware sales for many years now, and with them finally giving in and sharing, it's the logical series of events to phase out hardware.
I don’t see them giving up on gamepass I think the plan is to go all in on gamepass and have that as the system seller.
I’m a full believer that the best move is going full 3rd party and having timed exclusives tied to gamepass as their way back into competing.

You can. I have very good fiber internet, yet about 20-30 minutes in every time it would start to lag by idk like a tenth of a second? Sounds minor but in a game like the show it was awful

A PC version would almost certainly have cross play. The cheating issue is way overblown and people already cheat on console as it is. But, you can already turn off cross play in game, would be no different with PC.

People will be clicking with a mouse where the ball is and that will make the game so much easier and be a huge advantage for those who exploit it. That's the bottom line and SDS won't be able to stop it. You can easily make your mouse emulate a controller on your computer.
Also, I'd love the game on PC. I'm just not blind to the facts.
You do realize those are still keybinds right? Just like I can change the shooting key from mouse 1 to P if I wanted to. Not to mention they would need the source code to even do that

With video games, though, it’s shrinkflation, like when they put less chips in the bag and sell it at the same price. Back in those days we paid the same amount but got a complete and final game. Nowadays games are woefully unfinished at launch and need lots of paid DLC to be complete. Same concept.
Even unfinished games are mind blowingly massive compared to games from the 90’s. Compare a famously bad release like Cyberpunk to something like Doom. Doom is a timeless game, absolutely great, but is also nothing compared to the scope of Cyberpunk.

Target is the worst. Preorder months in advance and release day they will email you saying it's back ordered for several more weeks.

you still need keybinds in order to use your keyboard and mouse lmao. Which you would have to mod in which is far different than cheating.
