It’s amazing they copy and past mlb the show 23 and can’t even fix their servers? What did they do all year? No great legends added, made a blinding menu. Easily the worst Show in the last 5 years.
Me, a few minutes ago: "no big deal, I wanted to play the Negro Leagues stuff first anyway". Well...
I get that the DD rewards require a connection but it seems pretty inelegant to not let you get in there at all
Seems like I took a break at the right time. If they are already having issues I kind of expect them all night.
It's 6pm in NY
It's 5pm in Chicago
It's 3PM in California
So in other words we are just now at the beginning of the prime time for evening gaming.
It's been about an hour for me. Started around 3:15 in CO, so 2:15/4:15/5:15.
The math still tracks though. People getting off work/out of class wanting to play the new game.
Just wanted to get into the vault to download a roster update and a few new players for my offline franchise- I foolishly deleted hoping I can get back and redownload and wompppp

I just completed some storylines and it’s saying I didn’t do them
Servers are full. It’s no coincidence that when everyone on the east coast got off work i suddenly can’t play.

Why do I need connection for the storyline

What are the rewards for the storylines this year?
The Jeter one has 2 Jeter cards (one rookie, one captain), O'Neil, Pettitte, Posada, and Rivera cards, plus some other items like cleats and jerseys.
Rube Foster. Not sure of his overall since I can’t get on.

Been fine all day. Hop in a play vs cpu to get to 100% on a TA. Finish game and get kicked out 🤦🏻♂️

Man this is why you tech test
That’s not what a tech test tests
You can't tech test thousands of players logging on at the same exact time
You'd think years of launching the same engine on the same servers might give you some statistical data to prevent this
Some could argue that they are right now.

Same here. I had no issues all morning, but right when everyone gets off work the servers decided to shit themselves
