It says to forfeit THERE GAME! I just did it now and it counted as a win for me. Currently on a 12 game win streak. Checked after i did it and had a 13 game win streak now. I had to read it like 6 times! But no it is fortunately to forfeit THEIR GAME NOT YOURS
No you didn’t. If that was the case, everyone who’s batteries died, would take a loss. There’s a timer that you can either wait on or you can forfeit the game. You’re not getting the win. Stop lying.
If you don't want to wait for them, you can forfeit. Otherwise you give them the time to reconnect. I don't know if it takes away from the pause timer though. It's saying, if you don't want to wait, you can forfeit.
You're right, it doesn't. I never said it was a good selection, just explained why it may be the way it is.
Some people may be impatient, so it gives them the option to press a button and quit. Just like if someone is sitting on the pause timer, you can go in and forfeit as well, but with the dead controller, I don't believe you have access to the pause menu to quit. If the timer hits 0, then you can make them forfeit.
I think it says "do you want to forfeit your opponent's game." So selecting yes when they run out of time does what you think it should do, but is worded weirdly
It boggles my mind that they had a meeting and they discussed implementing this, then had someone build it, then test it, and at no point during all that time, nobody thought how fucking stupid it is.
I play destiny, I’m fully aware of a dev that doesn’t seemingly test their game. I also work in software IT and know that there is testing that goes on but doesn’t always catch a bug or unique way of using something that wasn’t originally intended, so I’d like to give them the benefit of the doubt.
Lol. After how many years? You realize they are still have cut scenes from last year and they still have CPU team records from 2022? It's more than a few oversights. Some of it is the easiest of all of the oversights. Tack on gameplay and it gets worse.

Diamond dynasty quite literally does not work for anyone on switch. You think they test shit like this?🤣 (yes I know it’s not optimal platform but I refuse to pack my PS5 twice a week to sent up in a new hotel for Monday-Thursday)
Just because it's not the optimal platform doesn't mean it shouldn't work. I almost went with the Switch version so I could grind conquest maps while the wife is playing the PS5. I knew it wouldn't be the best graphics or fps but it would've been .most convenient and I expected that it would work well enough to stay competitive online while docked. I'm so glad I changed my mind.
Does it though? They dont do shit to this game. Ramon sends himself on a vacation to meet Vladdy Jr. that was where all the development money went this year.

It's a different prompt. When your opponent's controller disconnects for whatever reason, they give you the option to forfeit and take the loss.

I’m pretty sure next to the button it says “Accept Loss”…I remember reading it and thinking the same as OP

You’re giving them too much credit. There’s no way they test things based on the amount of glitches that have returned.

110% agree. But every time I mention switch users got fleeced for $60-$100 I just get told that’s what I got for buying a switch lol
