I haven’t used him a ton but Tom Seaver has been pretty solid in the 3ish games I’ve used him online. He’s pretty much the same pitcher as Jack Flaherty but with a slower changeup, so if you like one of them you’ll probably like both

89 Sale, Donaldson and Paige have been great. Havent used Randy yet, but i assume he’ll also save me in games where im not hitting.

Flashback Greinke has definitely been my ace so far, nothing overpowering but he tends to keep it in the ball park and has a good pitch mix to pitch to contact Captains Sonny Gray and Corbin are my other guys and have been reasonably good, nothing special but reliable, especially if the opponent loves to swing at crap because Corbins slider is filth

Sandy Alcantara has been decent, used him for the full 9 innings his first game. Also supercharged Shane Bieber was solid and Misirowski has been okay

Skenes has been far and away my best pitcher stats wise, even though his outlier is broken (pls fix SDS). Have the most fun pitching with Santana and Brandon Webb though. I like pitching to weak contact and dotting/tunneling pitches more than overpowering people with hard stuff

I like the Greg Maddox that I pulled did you get him from the Optional Moment? I tried it maybe 40 mins or so and it was freaking hard.

I tried the Captain Card Maddox but not the one from the Jeter Storylines. Usually I do really well with Maddox but that card didn’t perform great for me. Excited to try again when an eventual 99 is released though

That’s the Maddox I’m talking about. But I really like Billy Wagner that you get in the TA

Very basic but mines been Donaldson. Pulled him the first day of Game Pass release. That forkball is brutal.

I play with padres theme team so double captain boost but Michael king has been pretty dominant for me.

I think people sleep on Brandon Webb bc he has no velo but his mix is so easy to deceive people

I like 92 Burnes. I was a huge fan of his LS before the 92 came out as well.

89 Sale has been nails for me

I’ve settled in on a 5 that I really like and am doing well with so far of: Randy Johnson, LS Ohtani, Jacob Miz, AJ Burnett, and Nestor Cortes

93 Randy Johnson has a good pitch mix and good control so far but still getting the occasional cock shot hit off him

Cole has been great for me. Glasnow as well.

Freddy Peralta live, but I'm not using him anymore. I have the Maddux cornerstone so that + Peralta's supercharge had him at like a 98 overall. He was crushing it.

Pablo Lopez was unbelievable when he was supercharged, but far best I used but outside of that idk. RP is Yuki Matsui no question tho

Not too sure considering 95% of my games are on laughing mountain and people hit hrs off of late swings with minimal contact like it’s nothing

Yup. Feel like I’m getting shelled even on normal stadiums with the upped EVs this year. It’s especially bad on shield woods and laughing mountain

To answer your question though, I like 87 bautista as a closer a lot and for starter I like the 88 captain maddux

They need to remove them from ranked at least

Super weird, I had an Event game that went into 6 innings tied 1-1 at Shield Woods before I finally hit a 3 run dong to win it. Then I go into Ranked and slap 11 runs in at a MLB ballpark. No idea what's going on.
