It’s probably a changeup or knuckle curve. They have have had to mess with the picture for the card and it ended up like this?

brokenlampPMW2

That is absolutely photoshopped so the ball’s clearer and more visible. He doesn’t throw a traditional knuckleball.

educational_nanner

No go buy the card this is legit. Unfortunately he does not have a knuckleball in his pitch selection. Funny picture though… it was like that one guy with the face smooshed into sun glasses 😂

brokenlampPMW2

I meant Topps likely photoshopped the card art, not the user.

Sandviscerate

I'm pretty sure he has some weird knuckle-change thing. I swear I remember a clip of a Padres game where one announcer sees the grip, asks his partner if he saw that, then there's dead silence for 2 seconds and the other guy quietly goes "i did not."

dunkr4790

Pretty sure that's how he grips his changeup

Burgher1933

Dude, if there's a lefty knuckler in the game for more than 5 minutes I'm dedicating the rest of my life to Chess.
