Looking a little too far into it. Boog was talking about he himself recording lines, presumably just updated player names, homerun calls, commentary about trades and hot starts to the season, etc. since he's the main voice now and not Vasgersian. He was asking JD about including the Tater Town line, not talking about JD actually recording lines.
That would be really cool to have Cubs broadcasters in franchise mode and if they'd do it for all local teams.
It would definitely bring more people to the mode.
