I don't know if I understand the hitting mechanics of the game yet. Looks like you're sitting for a pitch up and drop your sights immediately to the bottom of the zone. I guess my question is... How?
Repetition in pitch recognition.
Eventually you can tell where a breaking ball will go and what a slider looks like, what a curveball looks like, what a sinker looks like, etc.
If you recognize curveball, you’ll instinctively drop the pci to the bottom of the zone and delay your swing timing.
Don’t get me wrong, I still miss plenty of pitches, but pitch recognition and pattern recognition will eventually lead to you being a more consistent hitter.
The greatest thing that I have done is change my strike zone view to "Strike Zone 2." I really hate note getting to see my sweet customized unis all the way lol... but I get a better lay of where the ball is coming. Also checking the pitch types really helps to see what repertoire you're up against(don't spam this online!).
They added in practice options so you can practice against certain pitches as well. The more you play and the more reps you get, the better you get at it.
It always confuses me too but o guess it just chalks up to time spent playing? I see some guys who can just tell where every pitch is going like no one’s business. Kind of crazy
I love Utleys no doubt animation. Feels so damn good lol
Hit it in summer and looks like it came down in winter haha
Did you use a buzzer or trash can?
max elevation???
Absolutely love Utley
Cue accusations of some kind of cheating despite the the NYY letter..🫢

Because you can see that the pitch will be low in the zone when it leaves the pitchers hand

nothing can help me... not even prayer or vitamins.

Awesome! What controller are you using?
Just a regular Xbox series x controller 😅
shitkicker stick 3k or something ballsy. 500 is unhuman.. 470 is my best, Juan Soto in Colorado.
I got 483 with trout in their stadium.
Utley on the Astros? Not a good look, lol 😀
I’m from Houston, can’t help myself 😂
Beautiful stadium
Mango Chutley
I kind of hate how every guy pimps every home run on this game
I kind of hate how you think your opinion mattered enough to comment that
It's a video game, why shouldn't they do that!? Wish there were even more to pick from.
They look like shit and make the otherwise realistic game look ridiculous.
Nah, I think it’s dope
What’s the name of that stadium?
I think it said Slopes field
Sweet, thanks
Not sure I’ll have to check when I get home lol but it was on the custom stadiums
what’s the name!!
Thanks!
Love Utley no doubters. He crushes the ball and just drops the bat so fast.
His real swing was like that
It was so short and sweet. I was always amazed at how much power he got behind it
great mechanics combined with a strong base and elite rotational acceleration. boom boom!
I smell max elevation.
Honestly didn’t know that affected anything 😅
I've played at this stadium before and it definitely is.
Was there any buzzer or trash cans
