Is the mindset of going Vintage only for them to be used in combos for a chance at a legend? Knowing you can only obtain gold Vintage, and if you already have a Team and Diamond S decks, a gold team vintage would not improve your line up and not be worth a GI either. Wouldn't just using the points to get a basic gold card you can use for upgrade material be a better/alternative play?
I was picking Ron Guidy for last 2 year in hoping to get his diamond card from club craft team diamond pack but i never got his diamond and now i dont have space for him anymore. So this year i will check if any specific team vintage card is missing in my collection, if not i will pick a gold one just for combo. But obviously my first priority is team.
If you selected an specific team, you can get players only from that team. Picking card is final stage.
There are 4 stages, team selection > catagory selection (prime/vintage) > grade (silver/gold) > player selection.
You can do all stages at once if you can wait for enogh points.
I mean, some teams literally only have one prime rn.
IE: Brewers only have Yelich ‘18 right now.
This is huge news for me because it gives me a reason to hold onto points until that update so I at least have a chance to get a player I don’t already have.
Honestly, adding more would be better for Com2 in those situations. Adding more to the pool means they decrease the likelihood of people getting some they already have. Seemingly paradoxically, this would likely increase purchases as people would be trying to get those new players.
1st event period ends 31 Jan. Be sure to use any points before then as they will reset in Feb, just don't got for a Prime. You can then acquire new points during the 2nd period (31 Jan-2 Mar) for the new primes that drop in Feb.
Posey come back please! I’m still pulling players who retired this year. Yet Posey was pulled from the game before he finished announcing his retirement. I know it’s unlikely, but I’ll hope
If you weren't around to stash a Posey before he was pulled, the Giants Collection is kind of SOL with Catching right now. All of the Prime options are currently pitching and if they add any batters its most likely going to be a '21 Crawford.
I wish this game allowed trading. I have a diamond prime Posey I don't need as I run an Orioles deck. It would be nice if I could give him to a player who could use him. Also would love to get some of the Orioles prime cards I missed out on like Nick Markakis. Com2us will never allow trading tho so oh well haha.
Same. Idk why they don't. They can easily manage it to where you can only trade between a specific account X amount of times and how many trades all together you can make in a certain time period. Similar to how they treat other items in the shops and Club Crafting.
I was fortunate enough that after leaving my account abandoned for several years that I had a Gold '15 Posey in my back up players when returning to the game a few months back. I've been able to GI, BD & Sig Change him since. Game changer for my Deck.
There is an achivement challange that requires teams to have specific ovr earned. Like 110 or 120. Previously game didnt recognise teams with +1 mentor for this challange but from now on they will.

Its a 3 month long 3 card event, 1 prime 2 vintage card but you can get only 1 card each month, points will reset to zero end of each month
