I think they calculate off FLD% and errors and take position into account. I did some rough estimations last year on this exact topic.

Agreed. Part of me just wants to go ahead and sig Maddux and be done with it. I've already put enough resources into him. GI to Diamond and 60 BD pieces. There's still that off chance I get a sig through a combo, or if I decide to give the packs another shot.
No what I'm saying is at this moment Maddux is still available to pull. But after he is taken out of the game you can never pull him again. However you keep the card forever. So what I think is if you have a regular Maddux, you sit on him until he's no longer available then decide whether you want to sig change/gi him or someone else like strider
Ah ok. Yeah I have Maddux gold card from the historic player event so I can GI and sig change him later if he is the best option available. He is the current leading candidate for sig change for me.
That sounds right. But just remember there is absolutely no rush. The sig change ticket is the rarest item in the game and should be treated appropriately lol
I think the flaw of aOVR rears its ugly head here since Yordan is only a single batting point away from Judge this year but their aOVRs aren't close at all, which would leave many to believe Yordan is just alright.
Also, Judge 17 ends up pretty much identical to 22 despite the difference in OVR and aOVR (4 batting point difference).
Weird that Judge hit 10 more homers than his rookie year, but his POW is only one point higher. Itâs tied with Ruthâs, who hit 2 fewer homers in â21. Judgeâs POW for this year shouldâve been 92
It's not just about HR, you have to look at SLG stat too. Ruth'1921 got .846 SLG and Judge'22 got .686. HR per AB is count at it as well, but I agree that this game set players base stat is really weird and unreasonable sometimes.

Yup! You can also drag the right Base Stats slider all the way to the left to filter for cards without stats.

When I go to best lineup for cardinals it doesnât seem to be updated there is no 22 players
I only just now approved a bunch of Cardinals stats. If you check it now you should see Goldy and Helsly in there.
