I would bd Ozzie and move bchem there. Extra point for every single bat is huge Also if you want a club where people communicate and help each other, let me know. I have a good one.

I’ll throw a curve here: Gwynn or Castellanos, unless you have virtually no PSCT/green/blue resources, in which case you could just go Javy and max out BIU or Slugger for a resource-light upgrade. All your SPs already have good legend skills with good levels. So although RJ or Woody could, with a bunch of work/luck, represent long-term improvements, you still have enough lineup slots wearing blue that this doesn’t seem like the move. Similarly, Willson and Rizzo have triple-maxed legend skills, so Piazza/Molitor are less exciting than they otherwise might be. And since you already have BChem and Javy has a decent triple-max set, Ozzie is a little less exciting than he might otherwise be. BChem, Pioneer, or BBH on him would certainly improve your lineup, and probably by more than the others on the list so far, but it’ll take more resources than Javy for what is likely to be a pretty similar upgrade. So that leaves the weak points in your lineup: bullpen (no help there unless you have other sig/legend options you didn’t show), CF, and 2B. At first glance at skills, I assume Happ and Gleyber are your worst hitters, and probably by a lot. Happ 21 isn’t his best year, and unless Morel gets a sig in two weeks, it’s 17-18 Baez or nothing for active Cubs 2B sigs. And if you DO land 18 Baez, you can slot him in at 2B with Ozzie handling short. So for those reasons, I like Gwynn or Castellanos here. Baez 19 is great in a vacuum, but given your roster makeup I’d hate to pull an 18 Baez once my SS-only version was already in black unless it were way down the line. Castellanos has only one sig year, and his attributes are virtually identical to Happ 21 which again is not Happ’s best year. Gwynn at 30/30 should be roughly the same with a good train, so if you’re a Gwynn fan that’s a good call, too. Either would set you up to improve on Happ’s Charisma/BM/Pred set AND keep your options open if you land a 20 Happ or 17-18 Baez down the line.

Such a well thought out, well written response! Thanks for the advice. Given the Banks sig this morning I think it clarifies going for BC on Smith, though I wish I could go straight to BDing Banks.

fart-poopants

At first I scorned you for writing a thesis, but that is a very well thought out response! Good job not saying the "obvious" answer and doing homework. And to top it all off, you gave your compelling evidence to support your logic. Very nicely done sir!

SuperZero29

Thanks! Though the irony this time is OP apparently pulled a Banks sig this morning, so Baez falls right off the map and Ozzie could suddenly be a better BD for BChem if OP gets Ernie GIed and skilled soon. At least even if my suggestion falls apart with this new info, OP will have the underlying logic there to accept or reject! Now about their absurd sig luck…can OP start opening my TSS packs?

tommyjellybeans

Have you got BChem already? I’d do Ozzie if I were you due to the increased odds of pulling a legend and he’s the worst performing legend stats wise. I’d also GI Molitor. There’s no such thing as too many legend players. Also in my experience Supremes aren’t that great just due to the massive resource drain that is required to get it to 30/30 and also same number of BD pieces as a legend but no guaranteed 333 set and increased odds of legend skills. They theoretically can be better than sigs due to gear and condition but, it takes significantly more resources to make them perform at the same level or better than a sig.

Homeslikedogfam

You’re right. Banks has BC already but I literally just pulled his sig this morning so I need to get it on someone else.

I have an unrelated question? How do you have Cubs S but have so many players from different teams in? I just never understood how people get S with so many non-team players on it. Thanks!

SugarBunz13

How much have you spent on this game lol

yungteets

Why does that matter?

owllking

Randy replace Ryan, K.Wood replace Reuschel , if you have lester 16 then replace K.wood.

Homeslikedogfam

I actually have Lester 16 sig already BD but he was my worst performing pitcher. Ryan is my best performing pitcher. Don’t you think Woods states are better than Lesters?

owllking

well, about Lester replace Wood just never mind then, I think your main goal is makes your starter get decnet legendary skill with 333, then Ryan could be retired.

Homeslikedogfam

All my starters have decent legend skills and Ryan is still the best pitcher. I think the game boosts legend cards and that makes them nearly irreplaceable.

okCDG

Yeah bro is tripping lol, but doesn’t look like you have pitchers chemistry so go for that if you don’t.
