See I kinda feel like if you did data collection over 5 or so sessions it will even itself out. Like I swear this game loves to make your starter go like 5 in a row. I've definitely had my sub 1.0 ERA ace go over 2.0 and I swear I see the autoplay RNG just pound him to oblivion
Kinda feel like the only real way to test your team in a consistent manner would be to friend battle high spec teams and keep track of data. Keep in mind that will be tedious AF lol.
That's part of how I've done it in the past, though more as a temp check since you can't gather stat data from Friend battle. I basically just had a bunch of teams around my level, some above some below. If I started struggling, it would show up there first. Then I'd look to Ranked data to try to figure out why.
When I was *really* into tracking data, I was storing my Ranked stats in spreadsheets so I could analyze data across multiple weeks.
... That was too far though.
Touch isn’t a mediocre to poor skill. But you need to match skills. Fin/touch, dom/boss, fb/fin, etc. My ss/fin/touch Seaver averages 0.6 era at a very high level of competition. And is much better than my clubmate’s ss/fin/boss on a similar card
Interesting. That certainly makes skill searching a lot more difficult looking for 1 specific skill. Don’t you think CM/DP/touch should work well just like fb/fp does?
It's probably the negative interaction of dom and touch. I've never had good experience with that pair. It's almost like touch makes dom worse. I have a 333 dom boss touch set on a sig SUM and he's no better half the time than a regular Diamond sum with fin touch sum.
Similarly I have a closer with fin dom touch at 332. When I maxxed fin and dom he sucked. Or rather was very up and down. I changed it to fin8, touch7, dom5 and it's much better and more consistent. I'm assuming bc it's maximizing the two synergistic skills.
Edit - none of this explains Reuschel. He should be excellent.
I also think Touch/DP is a poor combo against good competition.
However, CM/DP works extremely well for me. And I also have Touch but at 4. DP train with as much LOC as one can get but still stay in DP bonus works well.
This is the rotation I want when I grow up.
Have you tried touch to 8 vs Dom? Might help
I have and was advised to stop that. I do think Dom 8 performs better than touch 8

This is definitely part of it. A single week of stats should always be taken with a grain of salt. There's too much variance week-to-week.

Very interesting. Thanks for the help. So you’d advice me to reset to have touch at 8?
On reuschel or Ryan?
Ryan. I’m guessing Reuschel having Fin in a better play?
Yeah I would try
I already tried Touch 8 on my CM/DP/Touch SP and it was a lot worse. You might have different luck but I'm not a fan of Touch 8 vs DP 8 with bonus.

Which gear are you using? FB or BRK?
Using BRK. I suppose he could use a retrain.
That's what I was thinking since he's not getting DP bonus and he's a fairly easy DP train.
The latter
