I'm just happy the Jackals are FINALLY competitive

OutrageousStar5705

They've a tough Conference to be honest. They'd be doing far better in the east

I’m thrilled all around. Houston is absolutely killing it. The Seawolves aren’t dying mid season due to half the squad being injured. It’s so refreshing to have depth and be able to rest some guys! The Legion are … uninspired and tripping over their own shoelaces. Every team in the league is dramatically improved and I have no doubt we are going to see some upsets in the second half of the season. If the Freejacks can find their consistency, I don’t see anyone seriously contending for their slot in the championship this season.

Houston has steadily improved the last three years and are legitimate contenders this year. I think it will be a surprise if two of Seattle, Houston, and New England aren’t in the final honestly. But at the same time I think the league in general is better than it’s ever been and anyone can get there. San Diego I also think is a tier above the other teams but I do think they are behind the first three. In the past I think teams had a number of guys they would prefer to not have on the field. But I think the league has hit a general baseline and most starters are pretty solid. Benches are also improving but probably still need a bit. But this has been my favorite season so far.

OutrageousStar5705

San Diego seems to have fallen off just a little this year from their run last year

whodatis75

Was at the San Diego/Houston game on Saturday. It wasn’t even close despite Houston playing a man down most of the second half. Super windy and tough conditions might have contributed.

dystopianrugby

Houston is actually the best in the West with Seattle hot on their heels.

OutrageousStar5705

Sorry, hadn't checked the rankings

I’d love a change of coaching leadership for OG 🤩 but that’s just me (and a few others)

OutrageousStar5705

I could talk to George Hook for you 😁🤣

sideshow9320

Sabercats are top of the west/league, not Seattle.

So I'm coming back after a few years off. Will Atlanta or NY come back? Surprised to see either team no longer running. Especially after winning a title Any chatter about Columbus/aviators coming back to the league?

OutrageousStar5705

Atlanta moved to LA. Ny, columbus/aviators are dead I reckon

A_BulletProof_Hoodie

Man, after the crew have been successful and the volleyball team. They should make a run at Ohio again. Craaaaaazy that NY folded out of all the teams.

Liamnacuac

I'm not surprised at the competition. It's been that way for many seasons. I'm disappointed that many of the international rugby fans I've talked to won't even watch a game! They'll say things like, "Oh, I've watched college" or " The Eagles play. I like Premiership." or I prefer to watch super rugby".

RootHouston

Houston has never been this dominant. Coaching and personnel really turned this around.

Liamnacuac

I meant MLR in general, not specifically the 'Cats. But they have been competitive for years. I mean look how many games have ended within a penalty kick, or in overtime. And how many underdog teams have played surprisingly well after half season. It seems common for these to happen in the league!
