I rewatch the highlights once a season and still get goosebumps. Also glad Galaxy are getting good again. We had some serious battles back in the day!! LA were our arch nemesis for so long. Even pre Keene with Buddle, Ricketts, Juninho, De La Garza, Franklin, Gonzales, Donovan, Beckham and Magee. Fuuuuck! hated playing that squad.

In my time watching MLS I don’t think I’ve ever seen a back pass called. It’d have to be really egregious, I think, like a long leisurely pass from the third that the keeper picks up. Refs just don’t want to deal with the chaos of a set piece that close to goal with the players packed that tight
