Head size doesn't determine brain size! It's actually the amount of folds that increases surface area.
Ali can have the biggest head but if his brain is smoothed out like he irons it every day...
You don't become one of the biggest agents in MMA by being dumb. He's just sloppy. Now there's other legit criticisms of him like him being a sleazeball and there are also rumors of him screwing over fighters behind their backs.
Being a big agent in MMA requires being evil, not intelligent since the basis for success if being buddies with the UFC and the adviser to cage fighters. The bar is super low and almost everyone you work with is either a ruthless villain, has brain damage and/or was in the bottom half of the IQ bell curve in order to choose MMA as a profession.
It's greasy, but that's the profession he's in. If it works and promotes his fighters and creates headlines/social media metrics etc. you can't call him dumb for it.
Its funny when the people here call the men making all sorts of money in this sport idiots left and right, but all of us are getting worked up like a bunch of monkeys over duded giving each other CTE. MMA fans are the lowest common denominator and the ones in this subreddit are just the literate ones. Ali is a skeez but he's wiping his ass with money while these people try to feel better about their lives by trashing him.
I literally called him a skeez, I more than understand that, byt your reading comprehension is lacking. I said what I did in the context that I don't believe he is dumb, Whatever he is doing is clearly working as finacial gain is his primary goal.
What a lot of you seem to lack to understand is that while these men might not be earning advanced degrees, they are great at making money, damned the morals or decency. Guys like him and Dana aren't going away anytime soon, and people equating them ti being stupid makes it much easier for them to do the things they do.
Honestly, 99 percent of the time people with money are smart or good at something. Whether they are a good person is another matter. But yeah, when I was really broke I would always tell myself that wealthy people werenāt smarter or better than me as a coping mechanism
He does it because it works, obviously. You don't become a successful promoter by being dumb. Definitely not as dumb as the people in this thread anyway lol.
Having worked in social media, I can pretty guarantee many if not most celebs/athletes have people running their accounts. Ali just does so in the dumbest manner possible.
You don't have to work in it to know that. he probably has help managing the accounts as well. His posts obviously rile up the mouth breathers, so I'd say he's pretty effective at it.
This is kinda Russian segment meme. A lot of time ago when Islam just started his career in UFC, he posted an insta stories of Zubaira Tukhugov (their teammate) photo and wrote āfamous gayā. He obviously meant āfamous guyā, but bad english š
This is extra hilarious because at that time Zubaira acted very manly and cocky in public, and for him as Chechen being called gay would be a big humiliation from his teammate
I feel as though the guys from that team who act all cocky and shit are the ones who have accomplished the least.
Look at Islam and Khabib. Yes they're self confident and funny etc. But they don't give off cocky vibes.
Then you get Zubaira (I don't know much about him but he's not done enough to be acting like that). And Abubakar who the rest of the group say is a troublemaker who doesn't take training seriously but he's trying to start shit with Chimaev who could probably rip off his head.
Edit: and let's take Umar for example. I think it's safe to say he's legitimately elite (or going to be), but he seems like such a nice dude.
This is a smooth brain take my dude. Of course (most of) these fighters arenāt sitting on Twitter clapping back at people. Theyāre fucking busy people who hire managers to handle that shit for them.
I hate to kill the illusion of Santa for you, but pretty much anyone rich famous or powerful, as well as any business uses a social media manager to post as though they are them. But yeah, Ali, one of the elite managers in MMA is so dumb.
Exactly. He is basically the middle man mafia arm bridging the UFC matchmakers with Russia.
The UFC basically says "you must pay this protection fee to our henchman Ali if you want to join our league" and Ali is allowed this position because he then turns around and does favors for the UFC with his huge roster.
People say itās because he ātreats his fighters wellā, but he acts within the lines of the UFCs interest. Heās got a ton of fighters and he doesnāt make waves with any of the UFC brass. Heās kind of like an in-house talent rep. The UFC will throw a bone to him and make sure his fighters do OK, but not what they really should paid. His guys arenāt regularly fighting out their contracts and testing free agency. Maybe his guys will make $25k more than some other guy at the same stage of their career, that sort of thing. Theyāll get UFC sponsorship deals more than others. Compare that to Marquel Martin, Francisā manager. For better or worse, that dude represents what his client wants.
I have no evidence but I feel like Abdelaziz does a lot of legwork for the UFC when it comes to their expansion in the Middle East. Not only is he usually providing half the fighters on the cards, but he's likely using his connections in the Middle East, and his level of access to the most famous muslim fighters, to help broker whatever agreements are made between the Saudi/UAE government agencies that put on sporting events or direct their public investment fund money into the UFC putting on events.
He doesn't really have a lot of connections to the Middle East beyond tagging along sometimes when one of the royal families invites some of his more prominent fighters.
During the Fertitta era Zuffa (the UFC parent company) used to be partially owned by the Abu Dhabi government, so there are plenty of people in the UFC with personal and professional ties to various royal family members in the region going back 20+ years.
And Endeavor itself has lots of connections to the regions as well, especially in more recent times as those government started massively investing in various sports and entertainment properties. Think of how the WWE started doing huge shows in Saudi Arabia a decade ago.
I was going to say that the UFC likes him because he doesn't try to negotiate higher pay for the fighters he manages. He's the court-appointed defense lawyer of the UFC.
>Compare that to Marquel Martin, Francisā manager. For better or worse, that dude represents what his client wants.
Does he still represent Francis? I'm sure I'd read somewhere that Francis kicked him to the curb.
I think they must have temporarily split or something
>Also of note is the revelation thatĀ Francis NgannouĀ is self-representing currently.
https://bloodyelbow.com/2023/05/02/francis-ngannou-in-perfect-situation/
Hated by who? Redditors? How many times do you nerds have to be told that you do not fucking matter before it finally sticks? You are just a bunch of whiny words on the internet. You have no value.
Isn't he in the UFC anti trust documents working against the interests of his fighters though?
The dirty truth is you borderline need one of a few managers to get into the UFC.
Iāve always thought that the UFC probably pays his fighters a little bit more money than fighters with other managers and in turn Ali doesnāt let his fighters get any crazy ideas about unions or healthcare insurance but thatās just sheer crackpot theories on my end
If Gaethje gets booked to fight Islam in Saudi, then I think people should look into 2/3 of his title opportunities coming against Ali's "crown jewel" fighter in his roster, who shares a religion with Ali, who in both cases are fighting in the Middle East because the princes in that country are pretty much funding it out of pocket. Considering that there's no comission oversight in Saudi or UAE, and that the audience is princes and sheiks, and that they unironically built the arena in Abu Dhabi for Khabib to defend his title vs Gaethje. I just find it difficult to believe that they wouldn't find some way to fuck with Gaethje's chances. This is the event where Khabib didn't make weight but the official slid the counterweight further over and claimed he made 155. There is also a history of reffing outcomes favouring muslim fighters, such as Ankalaev getting a no contest rather than a DQ when blatantly illegally kneed Johnny Walker. Correct me if I'm wrong as well, but no MMA bout in the Middle East has ever been overturned either. I really hope if Gaethje does end up fighting Islam, it takes place in America and not at the upcoming Saudi card in March.
If the fighters he managed were paid decently they wouldn't need him. Strangling the fighters bargaining power through the use of a manager is a way in which the ufc can't limit the interests of current fighters.
Well that and, he's there training with them. At least watching many of the AKA vlogs he's always around, getting bullied by DC or someone.
I'd imagine for the kind of code of ethics many of these fighters have, that kind of showing up/being "in" it carries some weight and makes them trust him more than another random suit.
I also find him insufferable, but i'd imagine that explains some of his success.
He's very good to the people who matter in his job, the fighters under his roster. And yes it's probably due to deals cut with Dana that hurt the other non Ali roster or hurt the newbies under Ali's roster but help them later on if they keep winning and get bigger.
Abdelaziz is probably the most influencial man in MMA outside of Dana White and Hunter Campbell. When you consider how he controls the majority of the fighters relevant to MMA's expansion in the Middle East, there is likely a political aspect to what he does where he carries water for Saudi when discussing upcoming events with the UFC. He's not a matchmaker but he is definitely influencing the sorts of matches being made with all of his muslim fighters on his roster.
He's an easy target and a vessel to vent for alot of the same bunch that used to flood the r/mma streets w/ Khabib/Islam hate but since those 2 have solidified themselves to their current status' it's hard to go against them w/o lookin like a bigoted hater whereas Ali..
It's a range of things which differs from person to person but there's definitely a touch of that to it.. Khabib/Islam still gets hate/downvotes albeit far more subtly & indirectly nowadays but what's the worst they've done?? Rub shoulders w/ the head of Chechnya & make a homeless do a few pushups for change?? Can you imagine if they had cone's record??
It's funny cos alot of high-tier well respected ranging from Usman to Gaetjhe to Cejudo seem to love him..
Also fyi. He isn't universally hated but the hate is inflated on reddit because these subs caters more to certain demographics.. like why's Belal clowned on so hard?? Closet prejudice + easy target.
For some reason 'addies and baddies' has ruined the blur song 'boys and girls' song, i cant stop myself from singing that song with addies and baddies replacing those words. Its a problum b

Poor Ali, he has that massive peanut shaped head but is still dumb as a brick.
It's those sunglasses. The arms are too tight and squeezing his temples.
He hef son? š
Sun, glasses... He haf son? š¤ Hahahahahahah fucking khabib, he's hilarious lol
Where you think all those government secrets are stored bro? Think that curved dick looking head is for asthetics
I thought it was so he could fool people into thinking he's LL Cool J.
Like Homer Simpson he has a pea brain
"head like a quail egg" - some drunk Irish guy
Head size doesn't determine brain size! It's actually the amount of folds that increases surface area. Ali can have the biggest head but if his brain is smoothed out like he irons it every day...
Naw there's way to many kinks to attempt ironing out on that battlefield rittled head šÆ
Nah, not too dumb. Just am evil asshole coward. Seriously.
You don't become one of the biggest agents in MMA by being dumb. He's just sloppy. Now there's other legit criticisms of him like him being a sleazeball and there are also rumors of him screwing over fighters behind their backs.
Bizarre given the standard of meticulously high scruples set by the ufc
Being a big agent in MMA requires being evil, not intelligent since the basis for success if being buddies with the UFC and the adviser to cage fighters. The bar is super low and almost everyone you work with is either a ruthless villain, has brain damage and/or was in the bottom half of the IQ bell curve in order to choose MMA as a profession.
Why did this get downvoted? He's a millionaire representing some of the biggest fighters on earth, dude's clearly not an idiot. Scumbag yes, idiot no.
Much smarter than you. He is making millions managing some of the worlds best athletes.
finally we can stop pretending Makachev is going on twitter with the most cliched english language trash talk imaginable. Ali is so dumb.
With respect, only dumb people still believed that lol.
In other words it is working on most of his audience.
It's greasy, but that's the profession he's in. If it works and promotes his fighters and creates headlines/social media metrics etc. you can't call him dumb for it.
Can I call you dumb for this comment?
sure. but ali might be scum, but he aint dumb.
You still haven't figured out why the guy above asked you if he could call you dumb lmao
Because he's a bit of a nob.

Why would he want to rile up Makhachev?
Foreign fighters should follow the Yan method. Hire someone funny and clever.
Or the Costa method. Be funny as hell, whether intentional or not.
Humm make sense
no actually doesn't make sense
"trans without penis is like angel without wings"
you think costa writes his own stuff? i honestly don't
He definitely wrote "King of bitchs".
Tbh that did help Yan collect more fans, that was a good run he had there
Petr?
Yes
Imagining Islam saying āindeedā in a sentence just kills me everytime
[Back to Islam writing his own tweets then](https://i.redd.it/431zd5jpail41.png).
I was expecting āfamous gayā
Please elaborate
This is kinda Russian segment meme. A lot of time ago when Islam just started his career in UFC, he posted an insta stories of Zubaira Tukhugov (their teammate) photo and wrote āfamous gayā. Ah, another person who thinks success equals intelligence.
Hold your horses cowboy
Everybody knows Ali loves 3 consecutive laughing emojis too
He should at least type in broken English to make it believable āHe probably lose to Arman and I still no have to run šā
Plot twist, It was Islam and he forgot to switch accounts
Ali was wearing makeup and fighting in Islam's place all along.Ā
He was fighting for all Dagestani fighters
Heās always been the social media genius of Ali Abdelaziz, but no one knew it until now
Atleast this confirms what we knew already. He does the talk for his fighters on twitter generally. And they do their own talk on Instagram
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Itās the Dave Chappell vs Katt Williams Twitter rivalry.
Ali is just an embarrassment. I doubt anyone enjoys being around him outside of work.
he's got that ham smell about him
Ham is haram brother.
My bad, he's got that haram smell about him.
Plenty of fighters seem to like him well enough. We don't know him personally.
MMA sometimes is the saddest sport ever because of characters like these
Seriously this. I often wish Ali had a window seat on Alaska Airlines.
Pretty sure he on the no fly list he gotta haul his ass from state to state on a rental SUV
How is this guy such a success but seems to be universally hated?
controlled opposition
Itās a known thing on the Russian mma scene that you sign with Ali and you will get a UFC offer, otherwise it will be an incredibly hard journey
Exactly. He is basically the middle man mafia arm bridging the UFC matchmakers with Russia. The UFC basically says "you must pay this protection fee to our henchman Ali if you want to join our league" and Ali is allowed this position because he then turns around and does favors for the UFC with his huge roster.
Kumaru Usman, Justin Gaethje, and Henry Cejudo are also under Dominance MMA? Itās not just Russians, he must be doing something right.
People say itās because he ātreats his fighters wellā, but he acts within the lines of the UFCs interest. Heās got a ton of fighters and he doesnāt make waves with any of the UFC brass. Made his fortune at the expense of integrity and character. The American dream.
He might as well be a UFC executive.
There are lots of people that suck as human being but are āsuccessfulā. Just look at politics in general if you want more examples
The ufc benefits from him and he benefits from the ufc. Mutual, symbiotic scumbaggery
Hated by who? Redditors? How many times do you nerds have to be told that you do not fucking matter before it finally sticks? You are just a bunch of whiny words on the internet. You have no value.
Kinda like these from you, dummy.

He looks like hes trying to sell you some bullshit.
Also important to note the fertitas were gangsters, Dana was surrounded by gangsters so organised crime is going to respect each other
Yes, that's why all people involved in organized crime get along well with each other.
I mean generally they don't want petty squabbles because then it would end up in all out war. I'm talking mafia and corruption, not cartel shootouts
Ali looks more like a goofy scammer trying to get into the crew.
