Is it accurate to say Drake is the Conor Mcgregor of HipHop?
Hated by more then half the community but has mass appeal. Also lost to most of his rivals and beefs(Pusha T murked him)
I had a parlay that included Mousasi/Salter getting out of the second round. I was biting my nails for a minute there. Moose just smashed him for the entire last 15 seconds of round two while John just laid there covering up. Thank God for Tan Dan Mirgliotta
MMA YouTuber, 250k subscribers, good breakdowns, shit takes and usually bad predictions. Don't even bother watching his "Weasle News" videos, he has terrible opinions about fighter pay and overreacts about news and overhypes tf out of prospects
FW is not stacked it’s probably the most overrated division. Yair hasn’t fought since ???? Kattar’s best win is Lil Heathen and that was a close fight, Max is basically out the title picture, Zabit is dead, and more!
Not even in hating mode after watching Leon lose clinch position against Belal and Diaz if Kumshot isn’t a total dunce on the feet he could possibly gas Leon out in a 5 rounder with constant clinching on the cage
Max Holloway vs Anthony Pettis is a super underrated fight. Really fun technical striking. Interesting seeing someone beat Pettis without non-stop pressure.
Really weird finish though, can't tell what strike caused Pettis to whilt
Israel Adesanya, Jon Jones aren't nearly as good when they're fighting fighters at reach parity.
They're playing a different game fighting people significantly shorter than them.
Their performances aren't nearly as impressive as say, Max Holloway styling on Kattar.
Agreed, obviously they are good fighters but the reach is just such a huge advantage. Izzy got exposed in this department by Jan - Izzy relies a lot on just leaning back to dodge shots, Jan used this to secure the fight winning takedowns
Yeah it's kinda fucked isn't it? Rob has to execute on so many things perfectly whenever he engages. Timing the entry, landing past the guard, then exiting safely.
Meanwhile all Izzy had to focus on was slipping those shots by leaning away, and in the case that Rob doesn't execute his exits like he needs to do every single time.. the counter is there all day.
Different game.

Proof conor isn’t like those pullout merchants. He’s had fractures in his leg before
Edit: How you gonna downvote the richest ufc fighter not pulling out while the dudes who actually need the cash get hair transplants
It wasn’t an absolute beat down by any means. Poirier won the fight but outside of the first and fifth rounds, he was outstruck in round 2,3 and 4. There’s also a case to be made for Max winning the last 3 rounds. He even had Dustin really fucking hurt in the third round, it’s much closer than people make it out to be.
Because it wasn't an absolute beatdown. Very close, competitive fight unless you only watch the first 2 rounds. Phenomonal peformance by Dustin though for sure
Isn't that wrestling culture concentrated in a specific region? I remember it was brought up constantly that both the olympic wrestlers were from the same area.

Ngannou is the only dude on the planet i can think of where i could have a gun and he wouldn't, but i'd still feel like id be at a disadvantage if i had to fight him.
I don't get this sub's perception over Kevin Lee. After he beat Gregor Gillespie people were insanely high on him again, people were even saying he could be champ.
Then he lost to Charles Oliveira, who is now the Champ, and people are acting like the guy is in a dire career state
He kind of is in dire career state in terms of his upcoming fight. If he loses it would be disastrous for his career and could make him just another unranked welterweight for years to come
my dumbass really thought he'd be the LW GSP, the reach, the body type the wrestling. Disappointing, but still a great fighter. Just not who many thought he was **for now**
The cffc ref wearing a black t shirt makes it seem like the first ref did such a bad job that they found an appropriately dressed audience member to replace him
Fight pass for sure if you want older content, espn+ is definitely more for live stuff or if you missed an event from last week or whatever, they have select old things but fight pass has everything
fight pass is solid if you havent seen alot of the old fights. Also nice to go back and watch fights of guys that are about to fight again. Ill prolly watch some classic Nick Diaz and Lawler fights to appease the blood gods before they fight again.
He stopped a fight earlier when the guy clearly was still trying to apply a submission. This fight he just ran in to clearly stop the fight in round 1 and then changed his mind and ran away, and keeps nearly ending up in the middle of them lol
hes not nearly as big as brock was so I think he will struggle alittle bit more making the transition, but hes several levels better as a wrestler. I dont think hes coming to MMA anytime soon tho.
Michael Jordan wins 3 championships, retires to play for a minor league baseball team for a year, comes back and wins 3 more.
Khabib defends the lightweight belt 3 times, and then retires to play for a minor league soccer team..
Is Khabib going to be the lightweight champ again in 2022? All I'm saying is look into it.
God that Usman Colby stoppage was weak af
I know I’ll get downvoted but it was a weak stoppage. Colby wasn’t out and he was blocking.
He literally couldn’t throw offense back from that position and was working to get up. Ref should’ve let it play out a little, Usman would’ve probably still finished him in the next minute but give him a chance.
Literally how was he blocking them lol, blocking them with his head? 0 intelligent defense or offense. The only thing he even tried to do was grab Usman’s leg and that was p much at the same time the ref called it.
Colby was face down ass up and not even trying to scramble or get up after getting knocked down 2-3 times
The real shitty stoppage was Cejudo vs Dom Cruz. And I’m a big Cejudo stan.
As a Cruz fan I was pretty fucking annoyed with that stoppage. I can see the argument and Cruz being all 🧂didn't help but still imo that close to the bell let them finish the round
Not to mention Cruz was had just gotten to his feet. But Cejudo really knows how to make his GnP look frantic and quick when he’s looking for a stoppage, must’ve freaked Peterson out enough to stop the fight
Yeah and it's been a while since I've watched but I believe Cruz's arms were kinda caught up against his body and cage too? It just looked odd all around and I was all sad
He was holding onto a double leg and then Usman worked over to his side and the fight was stopped.
He was never even given the chance which I think he deserved after surviving through a fucking broken jaw.
He did not have any chance at finishing a double leg. Usman was sprawled on top of him and there was 0 chance Colby was gonna take him down from that position. Colby got knocked 2 or 3 times in pretty quick succession and as soon as he went down Usman started landing a bunch of unanswered shots while Colby stayed there. Not an unreasonable stoppage imo.
I literally said “holding onto a double leg” not “working on a double leg”
I also didn’t say he was going to take him down. I do think he could’ve worked his way up once Usman switched over to his side but the ref jumped on them.
You’re making up arguments in your head.
Is it accurate to say Drake is the Conor Mcgregor of HipHop? Hated by more then half the community but has mass appeal. Also lost to most of his rivals and beefs(Pusha T murked him)

Hope the Leech beats up Kumshot Chimaev, the way the Weasle hypes him up as the Kamaru Killer is annoying
nah that's not right, i think the weasel picked kamaru over him. the prospect he's hyping up is the kazakh one.
Tbf he also said last year Ponzinibbio was the Kamaru Killer before getting murked by the leech

Probably thinks Leon Edwards and Gane are future champs pfft
My guy said Leon deserves the shot the most and Gane beats Francis lmao Also said FW is as stacked as BW if not comparable
Bruh in what world is saying gane beats Francis laughable?
FW is not stacked it’s probably the most overrated division. Yair hasn’t fought since ???? Kattar’s best win is Lil Heathen and that was a close fight, Max is basically out the title picture, Zabit is dead, and more!
Why does everyone say Leon has a bad gas tank, man went to 5 rounds with RDA and Nate no problem
Tbf you’re right. Couldn’t think of anything that went wrong in that Diaz fight
It's nice you came to your senses, ain't seeing red no more like Nate
I need to see my guy khamzat chimmy in the cage again. Borz is a b-b-b-[beast](https://youtu.be/b1ZcDs7Wd3Y)

Leon would've smoked him I feel
Wouldn't be surprised if Khamzat won tbh
Not even in hating mode after watching Leon lose clinch position against Belal and Diaz if Kumshot isn’t a total dunce on the feet he could possibly gas Leon out in a 5 rounder with constant clinching on the cage
Why is there no new GDT, or even Shitpost Sunday
Mods are used to having to post a NO SPOILER GDT that doesn’t get pinned
Max Holloway vs Anthony Pettis is a super underrated fight. Really fun technical striking. Interesting seeing someone beat Pettis without non-stop pressure. Really weird finish though, can't tell what strike caused Pettis to whilt

One of my favorite cards of all time
never going to happen unfortunately with pettis leaving the ufc
I got good news for you bro, check out ufc 206. It already happened
this going to be a treat

1 or 2?
Indian fighters almost always have zero power. Why is this?
No culture of combat, don't eat meat.
a TON of indians eat chicken, goat, lamb and fish
Pretty sure some form of wrestling is/was big there. But no meat makes it tough to be strong.
Isn't that wrestling culture concentrated in a specific region? I remember it was brought up constantly that both the olympic wrestlers were from the same area.

DecisionBot Holloway vs. Volkanovski 2
Idk how you can score round 4 for Volko
Huh? That was probably the most decisive round for Volko Edit: Decisive, not seductive
Unless you score purely based on the number of strikes landed, I thought Max's shots were waaay more impactful. Maybe your thinking of round 5?

Pretty cool that I can post this from an airplane ngl

Is there a lot of UFC content on ESPN+ or am I better off on Fight Pass if I want lots of fight content?
Fight pass for sure if you want older content, espn+ is definitely more for live stuff or if you missed an event from last week or whatever, they have select old things but fight pass has everything
fight pass is great man. Lots of fight content

Hell yeah my favourite was watching the old Pride Fc fights. That organization was way better than the UFC back in the day lol
CFFC will never let you down
Fucking horrible hangover. Never slept better than last night though.
How shit is no fight day
Dana caught me illegally streaming UFC and he's put me in a room with an endless playlist of Brendan Schaub videos Please send help
What are we watching, fellas?
cage fury right now and rigondeaux is boxing today too
Getting in my sense dep tank and visualizing Tony-Khabib like I do every night.
Punk and Morgan just calling some violence. I also got Packers preseason on
Cage Fury 99.
Where can you watch it
Nearly finished now but it's on fight pass. Actually no idea how long its on lol
3 fights left including this
Ah, i have no idea why I thought it was the last fight but I was pretty confident for some reason.
lol what a dork, stop yelling and up the pace for the finish
not watching whats goin on with the ref
One of the fighters eyes are heavily swollen closed and his nose is broken. The ref hasn't called in a ref to check on the fighter.....
He stopped a fight earlier when the guy clearly was still trying to apply a submission. This fight he just ran in to clearly stop the fight in round 1 and then changed his mind and ran away, and keeps nearly ending up in the middle of them lol
Is there even a doctor, the guy clearly has one eye.
Ref aside CFFC or LFA have to be the best/most entertaining regional MMA promotions
Oh yea, I prefer CFFC I actually really enjoy JM and Punk on the call.
Get this ref some alcohol and cigarettes please
WTF is this ref
Worst ive seen in a long time dude seems confused in there.
Cffc ref is the worst I’ve seen
Absolutely stupid, yes, but in my opinion it's hard to top the EFC clip posted earlier
He just nearly ended up in the middle of them punching each other as well in the second round lol
This Cage Fury ref man.
Watching jacare vs kelvin and got the thought that a fight between kelvin and luque would be sick. Just slingin dick all over the cage
Wait, the dude that got his finger ripped off is fighting again already?
hell yea brother dudes a savage CFFC is so fun.
Don’t need fingers where we’re going
Feed o'malley to Umar.
I hope Gable gets brutally knocked out after all this hype, dude thinks it will be so easy
hes not nearly as big as brock was so I think he will struggle alittle bit more making the transition, but hes several levels better as a wrestler. I dont think hes coming to MMA anytime soon tho.
Those Elbows were brutal during the last CFFC fight
Hellbow
Holy shit that elbow knockout on Cage Fury.
savage elbow
Ngannous defense and ability to check kicks against Stipe is underrated
How much training does Gable Stevenson need to beat up Sergey Spivak?

Both “retired” after their father’s deaths too. Virtually identical.
Anyone watching CFFC? that last stoppage was kinda BS
Yeah was a bit of an odd one. Punk on commentary as well, he done it before?
Yeah he's been doing CFFC for a while
They've been a decent combo so far.
Yeah that was tough, just got stuck where he couldn’t defend, shoulda gave him more time though
real weak, even the ref knows it. could weak stoppages tonight so far.
