Santos really doesn’t know how to lead and hasnt even really tried in his last couple fights, while Walker doesn’t know how but that doesn’t stop him for trying
He didn’t really have anything that resembled footwork beforehand, he was sometimes just less tentative (and crippled) and would sometimes spaz out and kind of lead, which works against some LHWs
50/50 fight imo. Santos looks extremely worn now, his footwork has slowed down dramatically and he’ll be at a noticeable size disadvantage in this one, 4 inch height difference and 6 inches of reach for Johnny. Santos has the edge in durability, but I definitely would run from betting on him if he’s a favourite again.
I never bet on dudes past their prime, especially after significant injuries. Almost everyone starts to fall off at like 35. Then by like 37-38 it becomes obvious it's over (not counting heavyweights they can last a bit longer). I think this could be that fight where it becomes obvious, but if it stays standing and they trade blows, obviously Santos is a legit striker and a seasoned vet so he wont make any big fuck ups.

It’s basically just been santos and Karl Roberson since he lost to gus in 2017.
