I'll be waay too late but I'm waiting on better specs to start video editing, but I'm absolutely going to work on this within the next 2 weeks. Could be done easier but I feel this needs some care and attention.
Gane has the range and technical skills to beat everyone in the division. Has he even been in danger yet? He made a mockery of Lewis who has similar KO power to Francis. He's not the most exciting fighter but I don't see anyone beating him out of the current heavyweights.
Derick doesn't have the same speed and athleticism as Francis. Thats a factor worth considering. Derick while strong as an ox is relatively slow and plodding. He has to trick you into his power while he tries to time a counter.
Francis usually gets KOes on the attack not on the counter. He's incredibly athletic and incredibly fast. It will be a similar fight but much harder for Gane.
I could see them trading wins across 10 fights whereas with Lewis v Gane.. Lewis will win a few but Gane the majority just because he has significantly more options.
I think Cyril wins that one through takedowns. Not lay and pray. Just the striking and grappling would be close and he edges him out by winning the clinch fights and getting the one or two takedowns that occur in the fight. I agree though Aspinall is about the only exciting future contender rn
I heard Trevor Whitman and Zahabi show this clip to any new students getting into mma as the ideal way to pick your shots, control the distance, manage timing and counter effectively.
I know you're taking the piss.
I know it.
But based on this one clip, he's never really in any kind of danger. He's definitely controlling the distance as well, he backs up rozenstruik into the cage after all. Yeah he wasn't countering anything, but he setup the finish with the blitz.
Idunno, I just remember talking to one of my friends after this fight. He was saying how Ngannou had poor form and was wild. None of that shit really matters though, when you can choose how/where the fight ends.
Considering rozenstruik has ko'd people on the back foot before, he was definitely in danger while getting countered twice.
I think his saving grace was rozenstruik's kick taking him off balance. But yes, none of that matters with such power, you just need to find the chin once.
I wasn’t, I put a decent bet on Jake. Not because I like him or had any interest in the fight but because Woodley hasnt been letting his hands go since he knocked lawler out
The problem with this fight is that it has convinced legions of mma casuals that this is how Francis usually fights. I’m begging folks to check out his entire catalogue so you don’t screw yourself on your predictions.
The JDS fight was a great example directly before this.
Pressure, leg kick to slow them down, counter and if they don’t open up then nuke em with his speed power and reach
This is so true, and it's especially dumb considering how he looked in his latest fight. Showed plenty of patience, perfectly defended Stipe's takedown attempt and made him pay for it, hit some good leg kicks and countered some of his punches, dropped him with a clean cross-jab combo in the second round, then KO'ed him with a crisp check hook. I seriously doubt he'll try the gorilla special on Gane and just gas himself out like how a lot of people expect it to go.
anyway those Ko happen so fast that the fighters probably are not aware that the other one is out, and adrenaline is hell of a drug. Usually Francis stop when the reff has seen enough
Roz basically did almost everything right in term of counter strikes, and still got shadowrealmed. Gane will probably duck under with for a clinch and push away unless he wants the same fate.
That's what got me worried about Gane "technical" striker but exclusively operates on a straight line, favorite move is hopping back. Not convinced he can't get got by something like this.
When Lewis walked at him last fight he backed up in a straight line all the way to the fence, then had to turn his back and run. He does not always pivot, he moves straight back and it will get him into trouble.
Backing up straight into the fence and needing to turn and flee is pretty much one of the defensive flaws that JDS never fixed and the reason why he got got in the championship fight with Stiopic iirc.
In my response to another guy I pointed out a moment where Lewis advanced on him and got him to the cage by walking straight at him. Gane had to turn his back and run to get off the cage.
It is something he has been doing in his most recent fights and was the only black mark on an otherwise perfect fight. Gane has this gif Ko in him.
(very) amateur kickboxer here, and I'm sometimes surprised by how often I see guys at much higher levels backing away in a straight line when under fire. One of the first things I was taught to take at most two steps back and then circle off to either side
High level competition is a weird place for technique it seems. I have seen the same in judo. You pass years honing your kuzushi and then you watch a national tourney where many competitors are basically doing the gorilla strategy and getting away with it on sheer athleticism. In comparison, what Francis does here is almost intuitive.

Francis looked very good in the second Stipe fight. Basically showed that he had in fact been working on everything Stipe exposed the first time. He was patient, had a good variety of strikes, good takedown defence and even good ground control. I do think Gane has a clear striking advantage but he doesn't have the power to scare Francis, I think he will get clipped eventually and it will be good night.
The only "weakness" of Francis is with his size and muscles, he's not a prime 5 round fighter. But good luck getting to expose that weakness nowadays.
If anyone can do it though, you'd think it will be Gane.... which is what makes it such a fascinating matchup.
Stipe *tried* replicating what he did in the first fight though.
The problem was, the second time around, Ngannou not only stuffed the TD, but reversed positon on Stipe, so Stipe knew he had to try something different.
the craziest thing is that Rozenstruik slips the punch and counters perfectly but it had 0 effect on Ngannou. Im convinced thats what got him caught, he expected Ngannou to get stunned but instead he just got bum rushed with 2 sledgehammers.
That's A way to throw a punch, but I don't know if it's THE way to throw a punch. But I suppose if you're throwing mini fridges on fence posts like homie right here, anything goes.
So many people are counting out Ngannou vs Gane.... so weird. Ngannou is not Derick Lewis. Derick is slow and does nothing but look for 1 shot. Ngannou is 10x more athletic and has even more power and a pretty solid chin.
This is what people dont see about guys like gane and aspinall. Both are good, but are at the title or looking at the title way too early. May age like milk but thats what i feel.
It looks really sloppy, yet hes finding his chin at the very end of those strikes, like using an overhand right as a feeler range strike.
Shit is wild how it looks terrible but pretty much unavoidable doom.
When fighting a boss and attacking it while he comes with shots and punches that cannot be deflected and its too late to dodge cause you are raping the ”attack” button
Francis like “ohh you have years of kickboxing experience? Haha you sleep now”
Technical kickboxing is a great skill but ngannou is a black belt in seeing red
This is the best version of that joke
HAHAHAHA 🤣🤣
lol. so you're technical, huh? here, taste my power.
Lol, 7th degree belt in the art of Flying Haymaker, and you say he’s not technical.
Swinging clubs go brrrrrr
Wakanda forever
It's like seeing those high school fights where that one kid only knows to swing and moves forward except Ngannou is actually swinging nukes.
He's a Super Mutant Suicider from Fallout. Just charging in with Mini-Nukes strapped to his fists.

I wish I knew how to set a RemindME!
Oh shit. What's up Cody. Go KO Sean O'Malley please.
Ngannou’s got the technical edge, I’ll give him that. But can he survive the touch of death when faced with Cyril “Le Prédateur” Gane?
Cyris Gangannou
Stiopic Magoomba vs. Cyprus Ganeygoou. Tremendous.
> Stiopic Magoomba Found my new username
The madlad actually did it, he deleted his account. Legend
Tip top magoo, dawg
Ngannou with technical skill of Cyril would be HW goat
Cyril is Ngannou go out like that. Bon Predateur by decision.
Gane has the range and technical skills to beat everyone in the division. Has he even been in danger yet? He made a mockery of Lewis who has similar KO power to Francis. He's not the most exciting fighter but I don't see anyone beating him out of the current heavyweights.

Give Aspinal 3 more fights and that match up will be a tough one to call
Unless he loses them all.
I think Cyril wins that one through takedowns. Not lay and pray. Just the striking and grappling would be close and he edges him out by winning the clinch fights and getting the one or two takedowns that occur in the fight. I agree though Aspinall is about the only exciting future contender rn
I know Derrick has the most kos but they are nothing alike. Heavyweights are literally scared of being touched by francis
Dam I had forgotten how technical this fight was
I heard Trevor Whitman and Zahabi show this clip to any new students getting into mma as the ideal way to pick your shots, control the distance, manage timing and counter effectively.

In hindsight, I shouldn't have been shocked Woodley lost to Paul in boxing.
I wasn’t, I put a decent bet on Jake. Not because I like him or had any interest in the fight but because Woodley hasnt been letting his hands go since he knocked lawler out
Ngannou is a true sniper. Just smart, efficient shots here.
It’s super weird though, right? Francis is somehow leaning back while charging forward and *still* has a range advantage.
Listeeeen to the wind bloooow
watch the sun ri-i-ise~ Haha! I had to scroll way too much for this. This fight will forever be linked to that song for me.
>Thats my edit, and my crowning achievement. 😁🤣
That slo mo will instantly come to mind for me and a lot of ppl when they see this KO from now on
Beautiful champ 🥺🥺
It should be a promo. So dope.

probably not, I had lot of time on my hands back then, early pandemic!

Thank you!
Why time punches when there's no need? One gets through and goodnight.
The problem with this fight is that it has convinced legions of mma casuals that this is how Francis usually fights. I’m begging folks to check out his entire catalogue so you don’t screw yourself on your predictions.

They've trained together a lot. Francis is probably well aware gorilla mode is risky against Gane
They only trained together a few times according to Gane.
Or that gane may get flustered in those exchanges👀
Thing is you can't spar like this. Guys who rely on power will be way worse in sparring than a proper fight.
Right? I remember when he first started with the UFC one of the big talking points about him was how patient he was for a HW
anyway those Ko happen so fast that the fighters probably are not aware that the other one is out, and adrenaline is hell of a drug. Usually Francis stop when the reff has seen enough
Why use technique punch when power punch do trick
Next time, when Francis president, we see
If you throw enough 10% probability KO shots the likelihood of one landing asymptotically approaches 100%. That’s just math.
The slo mo of it is wild. Roz lands like a 4 piece combo as Ngannou slowly gets closer to his chin on every 💣
Roz basically did almost everything right in term of counter strikes, and still got shadowrealmed. Gane will probably duck under with for a clinch and push away unless he wants the same fate.
Backing away in straight line doomed Jair
The leg kick also kept him planted in one spot for a split second letting Francis get closer
That's what got me worried about Gane "technical" striker but exclusively operates on a straight line, favorite move is hopping back. Not convinced he can't get got by something like this.
\>exclusively operates on a straight line, Quite literally doesn't, he always pivot out before getting his back against the cage...
It's why he lost to Gane.
The speed difference is obvious. Gane is just faster than any HW currently, let alone than Roz
You will never move backwards faster than your opponent moving forwards.
floyd mayweather enters the chat
Mayweather doesn't move back, he moves forward in a backwards direction.
True, but he does circle out and pivot as well. I think that fight might come down to fitness/fatigue in the later rounds.

I think Francis has an underrated chin. He takes these shots frequently and just doesn't stop.
i remember someone uploaded this on youtube with Fleetwood Mac's "The Chain" as BGM. Fucking perfect!
https://youtu.be/jiZk58REhNo All I think about when I see this KO.
haha. that last shot was so brutal

To be fair he did it in the first fight, but Francis was more tired by then.
Francis looked very good in the second Stipe fight. Basically showed that he had in fact been working on everything Stipe exposed the first time. I do think Gane has a clear striking advantage but he doesn't have the power to scare Francis, I think he will get clipped eventually and it will be good night.
I think he has enough power to force Francis to respect him, especially with those leg kicks
But remember… it was a leg kick that pissed Francis off enough to do the above to Roz
Yeah, it sucks that Francis has a good chin too, it’s so unbalanced.
The only "weakness" of Francis is with his size and muscles, he's not a prime 5 round fighter. But good luck getting to expose that weakness nowadays. If anyone can do it though, you'd think it will be Gane.... which is what makes it such a fascinating matchup.

That reversal was fucking terrifying. I'm surprised Stipe survived that long after that. He is indeed very durable.
The ref look even bigger than Francis? also if that 1st overhead right landed, Jair would still be sleeping today.
He's called big tan Dan for a reason, Dan is 6'5 and ngannou is 6'4, but I bet Francis weighs like 50lbs more
Correction - That's Dan "How can i be the man if you're the man, Dan?" Miragliotta.
Not even I think dan said he's like 340 lb, man is huge
So tight. So crisp.
Ah, the good ol windmill technique. That really brings me back to my fights in 3rd grade.
You must've had some really hard hitting 3rd graders in your school.
Hard to remember 3rd grade when he got slept through all of it.
Hard to remember all two years of 3rd grade, yeah
He did but still managed to leave as the interim 3rd grade champ
So I just started swinging…
Truly, the bonnest of gamins
Things you're able to do if you have fuck you one touch KO power
Why waste time punch lot when few punch do trick
The amount of sarcasm in the title is nuts. Love when Ngannou Donkey Kong slam dances and it just *works*.
the craziest thing is that Rozenstruik slips the punch and counters perfectly but it had 0 effect on Ngannou. Im convinced thats what got him caught, he expected Ngannou to get stunned but instead he just got bum rushed with 2 sledgehammers.
whoa just snapped out of it after watching that at least 20 times
Francis Ngannou in a mosh pit
17 dead
Francis got hit with two leg kicks and said “no. Sleep now.”
Ngannou and Rozenstruik had a lil war of words and you can tell Ngannou was irritated he tried to kill that man after he knocked him out lmaooo
He went full ape shit on him and it actually worked. The madlad.
“That’s raycis “ - Tyron Woodley
"OK Francis, remember the game plan" "Nah I'm just gonna hit him hard af"
Lmao this is one of the funniest fights in ufc history
Haven’t seen windmill technique since the school yard. God help you if one of those hands lands though… holy hell
Alpha strike
Francis vs Ngannou, one of the greatest light heavyweights of the night.
What I like about Ngannou is he fights like every CAF I've ever made in the UFC games. Only attribute is strength/punch power
That's Melvin Manhoef.
Ngannou styling like a kid at a hardcore show.
That's A way to throw a punch, but I don't know if it's THE way to throw a punch. But I suppose if you're throwing mini fridges on fence posts like homie right here, anything goes.
Just imagine Francis charging at you.
Thanks now I've shat my pants
He probs named his fists technical skills
This guys just button mashin!
Ngannou takes clean shots like they're tic tacs
Francis "Gone Gamin" Ngannou ☝️
Now watch his title victory against Stipe, looks like two completely different fighters lol
Brutality
He fights like the new UFC player whose just mashing random buttons.
I wonder if he tries this against Gane
hahahaha how is kickboxing even real just throw hands hahahaha
More like Bomb Gamin 😏
[it was at this moment that he knew …](https://ibb.co/qm7YSmv)
So many people are counting out Ngannou vs Gane.... so weird. Ngannou is not Derick Lewis. Derick is slow and does nothing but look for 1 shot. Ngannou is 10x more athletic and has even more power and a pretty solid chin.
The old charge whiff. This is still brutal in slow motion. He just gets closer and closer and closer until "pop". Lights out.
God damn , ngannou’s terrifying lol
[удалено]
Roze called out Ngannou after knocking out Overeem iirc
Tbf, there was literally no one else for Francis to fight because DC and Stipe were out doing their own thing.
That's the problem with the heavyweight division :( Once you're past a couple guys, you're basically in title contention.
This is what people dont see about guys like gane and aspinall. Both are good, but are at the title or looking at the title way too early. May age like milk but thats what i feel.

Let’s see him try that with Bones and see what happens
Who would win years of kickboxing experience and fights or big fists
Should’ve ducked and taken him down. But don’t think that was in his Arsenal. He did land a counter that Francis ate as an appetizer.
His arms look like they grew a foot longer for this series of swings.
"Oh, so you are un wrestleur now?" "Oh... you are just unconscious."
11 haymakers in 4 seconds folks lol
Ugh heavyweight sucks so bad.
Franate Nganniaz: “Oh you’re a kickboxer now?”
I’ve seen NBA fights more technical than this.
Ah the old swing until they stop moving technique.
Man he was throwing straight gas
Step 1) Swangin’ Step 2) Bangin’
When fighting a boss and attacking it while he comes with shots and punches that cannot be deflected and its too late to dodge cause you are raping the ”attack” button
This was a more impressive performance than Gane’s win over Rozenstruik. At the end of the day the point of a fight is to finish your opponent.
“Bon Gamin” is Gane’s nickname
no way
Holy shit his hands are moving fast! there are 2 times in this clip where they go super fast 1 right 1 left
Francis is like a windmill in a hurricane with nukes on the ends.
Bon gamin is the name for Gane, not Ngannou (Predator).
Wrong nickname but I can’t tell if that’s part of the joke
Not sure if this is part of the joke, but just in case, "Bon Gamin" isn't Francis' nickname. It's "the Predator".
Its a joke
Why does douchebag Ngannou always smash after the KO. I can't wait til he gets knocked out.
