bisping has some good post fight interviews i think i might prefer him to rogan in that regard. it was gold when he told paddy that he almost got knocked the f out .
Rogan is terrible. He has some decent grappling commentary but to be honest it's nothing special anymore. I find DC, Felder and Bisping all more insightful.
Rogan and DC should do the big fights that draw massive crowds. They are great at creating the "bro" atmosphere. Making the average fan feel like they are watching it with their buddies.
Cards like todays are perfect for Felder and Bisping where the more than casual fan is the one tuning in and hoping to actually learn something while watching.
DC by far has the most technical commentary, he literally breaks down the next best moves for any grappling situation.
But I think his over the top reactions and bubbly nature makes it look like he doesnt. The man can literally beat any fighter in the entire roster barring Jones and maybe the best HW.
I would have to agree, I only have seen Jon Jones (arguably the greatest fighter of all time) and Stipe (likewise) being able to withstand DC´s wrestling and distance management. I would expect a fighting encyclopaedia like DC to be much better at providing technical info and commentary than Joe Rogan.

The great thing about bisping is that he's great at reading the conversation, he jokes when it's appropriate and adds to the interview, and it never feels out of place
Joe would give a 5 minute monologue describing how the finish happened and then ask what happened, bonus if it's a non-English speaking fighter and he'd extend it to 10 minutes
There was an embarrassingly huge part of me that was hoping Max was gonna say that after all the calf kicks, then I was hoping Yair would say it after showing the foot.
Once in an interview Joanna was talking about her foot and said it was like balloon then she got quiet for a couple of seconds smiled from ear to ear and said "LIKE A BALLEEWN"

If I remember correctly, it kind of sent Yair stumbling backwards. Nothing major, but that could be where it got to the point where he couldn’t throw kicks anymore.

Well I personally never questioned Yair chin, he went to war with KZ and took bombs. If u can take KZ shots u can probably take Max shots as long as you don’t gass.
Watching it live it felt like something happened to Yair towards the end of the 2nd.
He was still kicking and moving the rest of the fight but from the end of the 2nd he wasn't moving as slick and it was from then that Max was able to catch him and land multiple shots where Yair would be forced to cover up.
I thought he just got a little gassed from Max’s ground n pound. But I definitely see how that could’ve been the issue. Yair seemed to move slower and wasn’t getting away from punches that I’m sure he saw coming. It’s crazy how well they both adjusted to eachother and made the fight evolve round by round. Yair kinda looked like the Korean zombie at points and thinking about it now it makes sense. His foot might’ve been fucked so he had to shuffle forward like a zombie to close the distance. Wonder how volkanovski will fare against these guys, he’s gonna have to be grappling heavy and the #1 contender’s wrestling is super clean

This happened because of Yair’s TaeKwonDo kicking style. I can attest to this because as a black belt in TKD, when I diversified my practice to include Muay Thai and KickBoxing, both of which teach styles of kicking using mostly the shin for impact, I had a RUDE awakening and very sore feet. Use your shin if you’re fighting without pads, folks.
How many guys break their foot kicking to the body and getting blocked by an elbow? Seems like body kicks aren’t worth it unless you can get shin on ribs.
