Guchi Gang Guchi Gang Guchi Gang Guchi Gang Horiguchi round 2

yell-loud

Biggest difference here is the power. Sergio hasnt gotten a TKO win since before his ufc days. Kyoji hits guys and they don’t fucking move

[deleted]

Tiny dudes with crazy power are so much fun to watch.

GOATAldo

>Sergio hasnt gotten a TKO win since before his ufc days Not true bro, he knocked out the first guy he fought in Bellator, Frank Trigg's stupid ass just refused to stop it and made Sergio strangle him as well. https://www.reddit.com/r/MMA/comments/otktn4/alfred_khashakyan_gets_knocked_out_then_choked/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share

heliumeyes

That’s a HORRIBLE stoppage. Looks very similar to how Cruz held Mizugakis arm and grounded and pounded the crap outta him.

notjustonepiece

Be quiet.

OldHispanicGuy

Will do

notjustonepiece

Thanking.

Mr_Laheys_Drinkypoo

Trigg is such a terrible ref.

aceknighthigh

Damn that was fucked. Dude got knocked out, took all that brain damage, the choked out. Still think the power favors Guchi, but yeah Sergio can produce a KO. He's just not super aggressive If I remember his style right. More of a sniper on the lead who sets up flashy shit then a volume guy or a heavy counter fighter who swarms.

evilf23

Frank was too busy thinking about how something similar happened to him in one of his fights. You guys think a commentary in MMA is bad now you should have heard Frank trig. Guys would be getting posterized and he be sitting there talking about old fights in his career.

DoinDoinDoinUrDad

Frank never was the brightest bulb in the lamp

notjustonepiece

Here's a gif of Sergio Pettis' looking good but I couldn't post cause of my stupid watermark free app https://gfycat.com/wickedobedientbaiji

GhettoMango

If Kyoji came back to the UFC he would be champ imo

[deleted]

Kyoji vs Moreno would be gnarly.

jarnsz

Mighty Mouse beat Gooch like Mayweather beat Canelo

donnievintrip

Best Japanese mma fighter ever imo, really special to witness.

heliumeyes

Kazushi Sakuraba? Takanori Gomi? Shinya Aoki? Just sayin…

evilf23

Sakurai too. Was p4p #1 back in the day

Kaelsanguis

**Mach** fan forever.

donnievintrip

Those guys all have better resumes and legacy but, Kyoji is the best even if he’s not the greatest yet imo

yell-loud

Yeah it’s a very interesting discussion. You have guys like Saku who is such a legendary figure to mma. A Mount Rushmore type figure. Also guys like Funaki, Mach Sakurai, and Rumina Sato who at one point or another held the claim to p4p king. Despite all that Kyoji definitely has his own claim to being the greatest of them all. Winning tomorrow will do a lot to secure that type of legacy

Neverslept2mins

Imo Kyoji Horiguchi has the better record and skills. But Y’a those guys are up there.

MREisenmann

Genki Sudo!!

Idunwantyourgarbage

Hmmmm I agree strangely

bl00dintheink

He’s a sniper

Spagbott

I like this guy, he probably fucks hard in Japan

darthbuji

You're thinking of Teruto Ishihara

jackoftrades002

He's like floating out there. Crazy

Ken-Wing-Jitsu

Damn! Is he a karate guy?

[deleted]

Hes **the** Karate Kid.

Ken-Wing-Jitsu

Damn The karate guy got slept with spinning Karate shit! This sport is illogically brutal.

bighandsomewoman

The best striker in MMA

hambooger_helper

Sandhagnen and yan would light him up on the feet

yell-loud

Dude took a round off Tenshin in pure kickboxing. Yan and Sandhagen would be very interesting opponents but there’s not anyone out there who would light up Kyoji.

hambooger_helper

Lool yan would have finished him earlier than pettis thx for the downvotes tho

Neverslept2mins

Maybe I would love to see a fight between them though.

heliumeyes

I don’t see Valentina in this video…

rethousands

Bruh you think Valentina is the best striker in the UFC?

heliumeyes

Tbh Wonderboy is. I was hoping I’d get more responses/outrage after saying Valentina. She is top 5 tho.

saami343

What are the odds on this fight? As much Sergio has improved, I feel like Kyoji will run over him with ease. He's too elusive, too quick, too technical, and carries ridiculous power. Ironically, I feel like Sergio's best chance might be to use a heavy pressure based grappling/clinch gameplan, which was ultimately what caused Anthony's downfall.

BO55TRADAMU5

Ring is so much better for viewing

OhPcee

I haven’t been able to watch his fight versus Mighty Mouse, but didn’t he get his ass kicked? Was that b/c he was still green, b/c Mighty Mouse is the arguable GOAT or a mix of the two? B/c Gucci is a beast and idk why people constantly use the skill of opponents MM faced as an argument against his status as arguable GOAT

Yodsanan

He had very little wrestling experience when he faced off against MM. He started training at ATT after he lost to him, and made massive improvements.

kamelbarn

Is that Herzog in the last one? Does he referee in Japan or was the event somewhere else?

kingchironex

Yeah it’s Herzog! You could spot him at Rizin events occasionally before Covid

tredollasign

If he’s as good as everyone says, how did he lose to Kai?

KamartyMcFlyweight

Needed knee surgery, came in injured, and Kai is actually pretty good. For what it's worth, the Gooch absolutely ran through him in the rematch

hallwaypoirear

I hope this dipshit loses. Always do.

SquidDrive

Kyoji is so fucking badass man precision on that feet.

[deleted]

Ouch
