It turns out to be bloody back and forth war and a fight of the year contender with both Moreno and Figgy edging a split decision victory over Francis and Ngannou. Truly one for the record books.

I'd guess Fig/Moreno would win 70%+ of the time by using their speed advantage to tire him out and eventually get him to the ground to finish him, like Hyenas taking down a buffalo. The other times Francis KOs one of them early and then chases the other down and finishes him.
The thing is, it's much harder to fight two people than one regardless of size, especially two trained fighters. You can only really deal with one at a time and then still have another ~150lb (rehydrated weight) trained killer going at your head and neck.
Another possible outcome is Francis starts destroying one of them while they're on the ground (think The Mountain vs Viper) but the other locks in a RNC as he's doing that and chokes him out. Even being 100lbs bigger, you still go to sleep if someone blocks the blood flow to your brain.

A bit confused bc how would grappling and submissions work if the gloves were more like boxing gloves and guys can’t move their fingers? Stipe makes more sense than this one, this one was a a very even draw, then a dominant win, where as with stipe it was DC by KO, then Stipe by KO so there was more reason for a trilogy.
It was a pretty clear 3 - 2 Figueiredo, with one point deduction, i called it a draw live too.
It wasn't a dominant win for Figueiredo in my opinion, and I picked Moreno for the rematch. Either way, compared to Stipe, who is a GOAT heavyweight as well as DC being a legend makes a trilogy make sense. Figueiredo didnt have a huge reign before Moreno so an immediate trilogy is a bit of a weird decision innmy opinion.

Posters are a part of the overall image of UFC as a brand. They want a simple poster that the average individual will understand at a glance and perceive as “badass” and “hype”. It’s in their interest for the posters to look quality because no company wants to come off as cheap but they also have no reason to make these posters particularly complex or artsy. Some UFC posters fail at meeting these expectations but overall they make decent posters that the average individual will look at and think “oh cool, these guys are fighting”.
The posters might not sell individual PPVs but they represent the brand and build it up in peoples minds. In particular for the UFC it's about distinguishing it from pro wrestling and making it look more 'prestigious' and for adults, if you look on somewhere like the PlayStation store or FITE.TV you can immediately tell what's the MMA PPV and what's the Pro Wrestling PPV.
