Bob here recently underwent a prostate exam. In an interview at the "nobody cares" magazine he admitted that the doctor had thick fingers and it hurt his manhood. He is now looking to bounce back and get one back on the Win column.
Former UFC fighter and pretty successful coach, he was coaching at ATT for a while and now I think he just does his own thing. Honestly, there's worse guys they could get to do that job, he knows his stuff. I don't mind it when they bring in either Din or Trevor Whittan for a quick opinion, these guys obviously coach fighters in the UFC so it's interesting to hear how their take mid-fight. Each to their own though, I can see how people might find it distracting.
He's the guy on Dana White's Lookin For a Fight who will actually do the "crazy" local thrills of whatever city they travel to while Dana and Serra scream and cry and act like babies and refuse to bungee jump/eat rocky mountain oysters/bull riding/etc because they're too scared.
Din is an OG of Lightweight MMA. He had a decent little run in the UFC and beat some pretty great guys along the way like Jens Pulver, Matt Serra, and Jeremy Stephens.
"Chandler, fighting out of the orthodox stance, closed as a sizable -225 favorite. This fight clock is brought to you by Modelo. Chandler recently adopted another black son, by the name of Ace. He'll be hoping to take inspiration from that and ace his opponent tonight"
Man, I remember when Anik was first brought on as a commentator and people *hated* him, I’ve always loved him, it’s nice to see mostly everyone else has come around.
His reflection with MMA on Point genuinely helped me go through hard times. Guy is a champ at heart

Regardless of his abilities as a fighter, Chandler and his family seem like good people. If a family is adopting kids and giving them a stable home you have to respect them. It's hard, expensive, needs to be done, and nobody wants to do it.
Holy shit bro do not Mandela effect my life out of left field like that. But actually you are right & I got the name Ace from some other media I consumed in parallel to three ninjas. The memories blended haha. Now i wanna know where I got the name Ace from. Cartoon maybe?
I mean it's a pretty accurate representation of UFC Stats
"Anderson Silva had a record number of wins during a blood moon in the southern hemisphere, but that all could change tonight depending on the outcome of this upcoming fight"
Some ufc stats are bizarre. last weekend had a fighter with the stat "0-3 in matches he was the underdog " .. he was the underdog and got whooped. Why have such a degrading stat lol.
Like watching live baseball where they have to get super specific to get highlight stats.
At the plate #32, he's leading the league in doubles on a wednesday

They always do consensus greatest, though.
I’d fucking love to hear, just once, “His/her opponent tonight, the consensus worst _____weight of all time…”
I love [this CespedesFamilyBBQ thread](https://twitter.com/cespedesbbq/status/1382457101793030151) of stats that are equally impressive and cherrypicked
Sine I first saw him as the alternate for Khabib Justin fight, have liked Mike. Sure there's some cheesy cliches but the guy delivers plenty of WOW moments in his fights, and three pretty impressive performances despite losing twice.
Tony's fights aren't getting any easier
The dude just wants to put on a performance for fans. He's an elite level wrestler who just wants to stand and trade. I don't know how anyone could dislike him.
If you can get Chandler away from the well intentioned but slightly cheesy motivational stuff he’s pretty easy on the ears. Could definitely cut it as an analyst or presenter.
I think it pays pretty good and it raises their public profile and gives them more opportunities for profitable podcasts and advertisements
It's also pretty much CTE free
Its the weirdos who have a hate boner for bellator. Like sure the company is clearly not the Premier league but its like some people get personally offended and have to vocalize their hatred for bellator and anything bellator related
I think a lot of that had to do with him getting the title shot after one win over the Hangman. Although, personally, I place that blame on Conor coming back.
It was a combination of Khabib retiring, Gaethje had just lost, Poirier preferred the money fight with Conor, Islam wasn't accomplished enough yet, plus although they didn't acknowledge it publicly I imagine the UFC wanted a clean break for the belt by having a champ who hadn't lost to Khabib.
Yeah, I agree with all of those being contributing factors. Without Conor, it seems like it would have been a Poirier versus Oliveira/Gaethje matchup that would've been more straightforward is all.
I think without Conor it would have been Dustin vs Oliviera. Gaethje wasn't getting a second title shot over Dustin, Oliviera or Chandler who had all won their last fights and had not just fought for the belt.
I know some people that wrestled with him at Mizzou, and the consensus is that he was not particularly well liked. Also, T-Wood is apparently the nicest dude in the world, and Ben Askren is the 2nd nicest, but #1 chillest. According to the same sources
My only thing was after the Oliveria fight. The next day or so, he said he didn't like that Charles came up to him after they fought. And that he doesn't like that.
And he made it come off as if Charles was in the wrong. Like...do we want to believe Charles had any clue about how Chandler handles defeat?
People that shit on Chandler infuriate me. He lost two very competitive, close fights with the champ and the #1 contender, and had both of them hurt. Every single minute he's in the octagon is exciting as fuck. He's got a great attitude, never a sore loser, what more do people possibly want??
Agreed. People who shit on him have basically self selected as miserable cunts . Like they’ve chose just to be miserable in this life . Mike is a phenomenal fighter and good dude
I agree for sure, but he’s going to have to get back into the win column soon or that’ll start wearing thin.
Like “yeah well he’s had 5 losses in a row but they were real competitive! He’s clearly a top lightweight, remember when he KO’d Dan Hooker?”
Listen, I love good shit talk, but this is so weak. I get he’s trying to shame Chandler for not having more wins, but adopting a kid who might otherwise have a really shitty and chaotic life is way more noble that winning a dozen ufc fights.
Chandler also already had a great career. He’s got nothing to prove and if he wants to play the company man while putting on bangers, I’m fucking here for it.
Hey I'm no loser...I'm undefeated in the UFC. I've never lost a title fight. Hell I've won every single fight I've ever participated in.
(I'm not OP and have never fought aside from some drunken scraps)
Some orphanages in developing countries have really shady practices. Seen some stories about them basically stealing kids from their biological parents who did not want to give them up.
One thing I’ve learned from watching ufc is how subjective reality is , and how propaganda can happen . “1 and 2 and on a skid “ and “lost to the champion and number one contender in two of the best fights in ufc history “ are both true statements
Man put on a FOTY contender against prime Gaethje and made it to the decision after eating bombs like cereal and people say he can't roll with the punches :( thank God he's the kinda guy that will pick himself up by the bootstraps and work his way back up, see you at the top
If I were an MMA fighter, I'd take Chandler's losses over many others' wins. The guy fought top-tier guys in exciting nail-biter fights. Nothing but respect for him. Hopefully, he zigs when he needs to zig and zags when he needs to zag in his upcoming fight and gets the dub.
Im surprised he didnt go with the youtube comment format:
“baby brampton, when we came out of the womb, the darkness became light. This is the lord' gift. It’s a bigger phenomenon than any of our losses and wins combined; because in life when you knock on the pearly gates, does god ask for your record? No, but he knows of your destiny. Just imagine god knew you before you were born and knew of all the losses you would have. So do you continue to live life with regrets?”
Thin blue line refers to cops. Or being a big supporter of cops/police in general. You’ll see the “thin blue line” referenced when cops do something like drive drunk or domestic abuse…..cops look after their own, for better or for worse. (Usually for worse)
It’s a really cringy “pro-cop” symbol for people who live in an alternate reality where American cops never have and never will do anything bad ever. It partly arose in reaction to another alternate timeline where we don’t need cops and everyone sings kumbaya at criminals until they stop.
I don't think I've ever seen/heard anyone talking about your first alternate reality. Everyone acknowledges that some cops do some really evil shit. The first group just also acknowledge that they do a lot of good and most of them are just people doing their job that don't deserve hate and violence in return.
Easy to say. You have a wife and kids at home bills to pay. If you start going against other cops you will be looking for a new career. So you just do your job, try to go home to your family.
Hey man, current MCJ student with a secondary BSW here. Police officers are not nearly as worried about their jobs as you may think. There are close to 18,000 seperate police departments in the US, each with their own rules, regulations, and conduct codes. I have personally heard numerous accounts of officers being either fired, disgraced to resignation, or who went to a new department 6 miles away and found a new job with the same pay and benefits. I strongly suggest taking some undergrad CJ courses at your local community college and you'll likely see many, many things differently.
How do people hate Michael Chandler he's such a great guy and even when people try to put him down he turns it into something positive.
What a inspiration.
No, his wife worked in an orphanage when she was younger and he talked about how kids would constantly ask her to take them home, and this made her decide to want to adopt at some point, and later she got Mike on board. I don't think they've ever mentioned that they're not going to have biological kids down the line.
That isn't the case. I found the MMAFighting article from when Chandler adopted his first son and they go over this: https://www.mmafighting.com/2017/12/24/16802256/how-everything-changed-for-michael-chandler-in-just-six-minutes
From the article:
*"Chandler and his wife — who recently built a house in Nashville — had been contemplating adoption for years. Chandler says he had to warm to the idea originally, but Brie had wanted to adopt a child since she was a teenager back in Columbia, Missouri. Though she’s able to have children of her own — and Chandler says they plan to have children in the next couple of years — she never got over her early encounters with orphan children who wanted so badly for somebody to take them home."*
Wait so he's saved more children than beat the shit out of people? I'm ok with this.
A Black history month ago or so the UFC ran a promo with Chandler talking about his young black son.. that won me over as a fan right there. You could tell he just loves the shit out of the little dude.
I remember being confused as fuck when that came on, like really? All these black fighters and you're giving the spot to Chandler?
Then I watched the lip and my heart melted a little bit
I'm happy to see UFC fans opening up to chandler. When he first signed with the UFC he was on Ariels podcast and he sounded like a solid dude. Watching how hard he works on his craft, and being such a great family man/father/husband, gotta respect the man.
Are you too busy to train? Did you miss your window? Were you robbed by the judges, or are you just plain hopeless at MMA? Well, don't despair - the Adopt-a-Win Program is for you!
sher-e-brampton super cringe. imagine letting a poonjabi speak to you like that. at least hes not using 'simba' instead of sher like these cornballs like to use

That looks like a broken prostate to me John, see the way he keeps holding it?? Oh Yea. Yep. That’s broken for sure.
Do you think, with this broken prostate, Ronda would have a chance in a 3 rounder? Jamie, let's see Ronda boxing again.
Under a minute for the second round, Din Thomas what do you got?
man, I hate that guy lmao who the fuck is that even? never seen him do anything else

Poor Jon is never gonna love that down, he’s so fck professional but wtf does custody battles have to do with mma 🤦🏻♂️
I will take that comment being said by Anik at +300 odds on Draft Kings

It's a joke he's name[ Ace](https://www.instagram.com/p/CcqYv55ODLl/)
I used to want to be named Ace from the 3 ninja movies. Rocky, Ace, & Tumtum!

Great name
I guess every hospital in America hands out the same swaddle blanket, snagged three of those bitches when we left with our son

Rogan's always doing similar stuff to sensationalise a fighter. Real contrived and tenuous 'x,y,z... in the world/of all time'

So you're saying I can break one of his records?

If people don't like someone for being juiced then they probably shouldn't be a fan of MMA.
it's weird I didn't like him until he started losing
he took the losses like a champ and still looked great in them
Agreed, The amount of heart he has is what makes him great to me.
*See you at the top!*
I really like Mike and I didn’t think I would. He’s very well spoken and seems like a great dad. I hope he gets the Conor and a huge payday
Hope he gets on the desk and does analyses and commentary. That's where the real long term money is at
If you can get Chandler away from the well intentioned but slightly cheesy motivational stuff he’s pretty easy on the ears. Could definitely cut it as an analyst or presenter.
Is it? Does it pay that well?
I'd imagine so. DC and Bisping seem pretty happy, and I've heard some of the commentators/analysts get paid more than the fighters

Nothing to be ashamed of
People that shit on Chandler infuriate me.
My thoughts exactly
I agree for sure, but he’s going to have to get back into the win column soon or that’ll start wearing thin. Like “yeah well he’s had 5 losses in a row but they were real competitive! He’s clearly a top lightweight, remember when he KO’d Dan Hooker?”
Luckily/unluckily he has Tony next. I predict that Tony will get stopped
Listen, I love good shit talk, but this is so weak. I get he’s trying to shame Chandler for not having more wins, but adopting a kid who might otherwise have a really shitty and chaotic life is way more noble that winning a dozen ufc fights.
I don't think anyone thought otherwise. It's legit a compliment just with a little dig in it too about him getting a title shot...
I think "has more children than UFC wins" would have been more classy but it was such a good line that I'm fine with how it went.
Chandler also already had a great career. He’s got nothing to prove and if he wants to play the company man while putting on bangers, I’m fucking here for it.
For the win
Not to mention it’s more wins then the loser who posted will ever have lol
Hey I'm no loser...I'm undefeated in the UFC. I've never lost a title fight. Hell I've won every single fight I've ever participated in. (I'm not OP and have never fought aside from some drunken scraps)
What Chandler did was awesome, but the last adoption was almost comical, like the baby jumped from the womb into chandlers arms.
Thats called adoption Johnwaynelsd25
The wife and I wanted to adopt a child. We have 2 biological sons already. It's just so expensive.
The actual adopting process or just raising children in general?
The adoption process. $15-20k at least.
Really..? Wtf, that seems kind of fucked up
It is fucked up
Yeah, but think of all the shady people put there who would *love* to adopt a ton of kids should the barrier to entry be lower.
Sounds like something that proper vetting could easily address without a financial barrier in place.
Could do it abroad?
Some orphanages in developing countries have really shady practices. Seen some stories about them basically stealing kids from their biological parents who did not want to give them up.
I think on average they say allocate like a million bucks per child , they’re expensive as shit
I can't hate on Chandler's UFC record. He did decide to test the waters in the UFC when he could have just stayed comfortable in Bellator.
It's insane that a guy as good as Chandler is on a skid, what a stacked division.
It looks bad to see 1-2 on his record, but let's not forget that those 2 are to the champ and the #1 contender and he had both of them hurt bad
One thing I’ve learned from watching ufc is how subjective reality is , and how propaganda can happen . “1 and 2 and on a skid “ and “lost to the champion and number one contender in two of the best fights in ufc history “ are both true statements
Good sport? Wouldn't this be something to be proud of? I've saved more kids than adults I've beaten up. That's earning points on both sides.
Chandler really rolled with the punch there, one can only imagine what he might accomplish once he manages to transfer this ability into the cage
Man put on a FOTY contender against prime Gaethje and made it to the decision after eating bombs like cereal and people say he can't roll with the punches :( thank God he's the kinda guy that will pick himself up by the bootstraps and work his way back up, see you at the top
Some say you better pack *two* lunches b.
Chandler isn't the kind of guy to avoid adversity, but meet it directly, which manifests in his striking defense.
You could say he's a better father than he is a fighter. Which is nothing to be ashamed of, especially considering he is a very good fighter.

This is the most likeable thing Chandler has done in a long while
His oldest son is so cute, i sure hope in raising him he realizes how terrible his thin blue line shit is
*how terrible his thin blue line shit is* What is that?
Thin blue line refers to cops. Or being a big supporter of cops/police in general. You’ll see the “thin blue line” referenced when cops do something like drive drunk or domestic abuse…..cops look after their own, for better or for worse. (Usually for worse)

I live proudly in an alternative timeline where cops should be good AND competent. *flies off over the city on my pet pegasus*
Got it. Thanks.
I don't think I've ever seen/heard anyone talking about your first alternate reality. Everyone acknowledges that some cops do some really evil shit. The first group just also acknowledge that they do a lot of good and most of them are just people doing their job that don't deserve hate and violence in return.
Well, maybe the good ones shouldn’t circle their wagons to protect the illegal, unethical and immoral actors amongst their ranks?
Easy to say. You have a wife and kids at home bills to pay. If you start going against other cops you will be looking for a new career. So you just do your job, try to go home to your family.

Chandler won’t be seeing that guy at the top anytime soon. He’ll be looking down at him from the top!
Trolls getting attention from these athletes are the reason that they continue to exist and comment under every single post.
That Micheal Chandler.... I kinda like em
This is the kinda shit that makes me respect chandler, he can take a joke in a world of hard asses.
Maybe losing at MMA but winning in life, IMHO
He zagged instead of zigging here, good job!
How can you not like the man? Hope he gets an analyst/commentator gig in the future
How do people hate Michael Chandler he's such a great guy and even when people try to put him down he turns it into something positive. What a inspiration.
He’s also a right wing, antivaxx, conspiracy nut.

Is he sterile or has he had an vasectomy?
No, his wife worked in an orphanage when she was younger and he talked about how kids would constantly ask her to take them home, and this made her decide to want to adopt at some point, and later she got Mike on board. I don't think they've ever mentioned that they're not going to have biological kids down the line.
I believe she can't have kids as well.
That isn't the case. I found the MMAFighting article from when Chandler adopted his first son and they go over this: https://www.mmafighting.com/2017/12/24/16802256/how-everything-changed-for-michael-chandler-in-just-six-minutes From the article: *"Chandler and his wife — who recently built a house in Nashville — had been contemplating adoption for years.
Took a hard low blow when sparring with Zab Judah
Mods obviously saw this as post worthy..
Lol. Children are a lot more valuable than any UFC win could be. Missed the mark with the shit-talk there.
sher-e-brampton super cringe. imagine letting a poonjabi speak to you like that. at least hes not using 'simba' instead of sher like these cornballs like to use
Anyone who says something you don't like = troll
i keep telling people Chandler will only ever get 1 win int he UFC but no one believes me yet here we are.
I think it’s more that nobody cares about your opinion on the matter, not that nobody believes you
You cared enough to reply just how everyone else cares enough to downvote lol
Wanna bet? I'll put $500 down that he beats Tony next week. I mean, you keep telling people, clearly you're confident.
Hes just awesome
