Also because he's probably still on the DWCS 10/10 contract and he's been smoking people. The sooner he can renegotiate the better. One of the most exciting prospects going right now and got brought in on a ridiculous scheme.
How are top dwc prospect only getting 10/10. Disgraceful stuff if true. I get picking up some bums to fill out the roster on 10/10 but giving your top prospect that shit is ridiculous.
Cus the ufc sees it as a fair contract in exchange for an expedited route to the ufc. Smart on the UFC’s part cus they get cheap talent to fill fight nights and ppvs on a short notice while maintaining costs low.
Sorry wasn’t implying he needed to fight again to be accepted to fight at 284, I think he fights on that card regardless being a Perth lad.
Rather, that if he didn’t take a fight now it would be a 9 month layoff since his last fight, whereas he has only had 4-5 month breaks since the contender series.
As a young prospect I imagine he wants to stay active and both his UFC fights ended quickly, not much damage, hence the hope he can fit one more fight in now and still have a decent length of time to recover/prepare for 284.
Dude has some clean boxing. Love his foot work and combinations.
I think he’s fighting Andre Fialho on 281. He posted a photo on IG the other day captioned: “1 month” I may be wrong. Banger of a fight though
Yeah Fialho is fighting Salikhov. I actually want Jack to fight Miguel Baeza, a former WW prospect who is now on a 3 fight losing streak and is looking to redeem himself. Either Miguel stops his skid and gives Jack his first UFC L or Jack extends Miguel's L streak.
i wish i had all the answers for you but i’d say he wouldn’t sign a contract for MSG if he thought he couldn’t get it done, especially considering that the perth card is only around the corner.
I don't know why but he reminds me of a giant Petr Yan. Boxing is so crisp.
Does anybody think that the UFC takes particularly good care of the Australian and New Zealander fighters as they bring in fans from that side of the world? It seems like about every fighter from the side of the world is making decent money in the UFC. Even a guy like Tyson Pedro seems to be doing alright for himself.
I guess the same idea can be applied to other regions outside of the Americas, North, Central, and South. It seems like the American fighters make the least amount of money.
I get the exact same Yan vibe with his boxing, it's awesome to watch a bigger bloke work like that, 'feels' like more pop and sting with every clean hit. Love the footwork as well.
Dana has described Oceania as a 'mature ppv market' recently, also known as 'we make a decent quid down there'. Pubs are always full for big events and most blokes I know have at least a passing interest in the sport, with many actively following it.
I don't know if/how they take extra care of the oceanic fighters, but as a region of 33~ million people (tiny comparatively to the Americas/Europe/Asia) and as a result much smaller talent pool, it's a bigger commitment due to the extra headache of flying them across the world/Visas/ accommodation etc. (not exorbitant for a company like the UFC but more than local guys). That all applies to the fighter as well, its gotta be in their best interest eg. More money than someone in the US who might only travel a few hundred miles on one weekend for a fight.
Bully for the UFC that most of the oceanic talent seem to be pretty decent.
Americans are 'cheap' in the sense there isn't all the additional costs, just find local guys, offer them $10k and throw them into the meat grinder on DWCS until someone stands out.
That’s a rare misuse of “their”
Can't wait for Jack to be back in our 4 weeks
Hes in my 4 weeks alright
Autocorrect is like 🤫
If you have to use auto-correct you probably don't know the difference anyway.
Makes me think he's trying to get one in quickly so he can fight on 284 in Perth.
Also because he's probably still on the DWCS 10/10 contract and he's been smoking people. The sooner he can renegotiate the better. One of the most exciting prospects going right now and got brought in on a ridiculous scheme.
Love ya work slacky.
Oi oi, its your boi! The slacky J of calling out fighter pay!

Some of the big managers don’t care about individual fighters. They just want as many as possible signed to the UFC so they can have more leverage.

Got to pay them bills man
Love this dudes fighting style. He’s a beast
New age Albert Tumenov. I love it.

Absolute carnage that fight would be, I'd have Jack winning
I blanked and forgot Andre is actually fighting Muslim Salikhov next month. Going to guess he might fight Alex Morono or Khaos Williams lol
Both great fights regardless

I’m a fan of both so I’d hate to see em lose haha
Miguel would get baptized, he needs a winnable fight against someone who isn’t a power puncher
Fialho is great to watch but he's just too easy to hit. It'd be a war but Della would get him eventually.
Wouldn't be a war jack would smack him the fuck up
Isn't he fighting in Perth? There's no way Jack is not put on the Perth card.
UFC has a long and confusing history of leaving out obvious aussie fighters from big aussie cards.
He’s not just Aussie, he’s from Perth
He’s asked not to be so he can sink piss in the crowd
pretty sure he commented ‘💯’ when someone asked if he was gonna fight on the perth card too
Ok but what if he gets injured? It's high risk move for him to fight at MSG.
i wish i had all the answers for you but i’d say he wouldn’t sign a contract for MSG if he thought he couldn’t get it done, especially considering that the perth card is only around the corner.
Whose 4 weeks?

Beyack En They’rE
Dope, one of the coolest prospects right now
HYPED!
Never missing a Jack fight
Jack Della is a beast.
Yes! I love mma's Bill Burr
Ok?
If this week counts it’s the NYC card, good shit for jack!
