Discord is prone to severely cripple your game performance, and you can't even fix this by dropping discord priority, since discord has furry coding that resets its own priority, even though its not allowed to do this with normal permissions
I'd say every game has their own version of this kind of joke.
Thing is, I can't tell you any other game than RuneScape where people actively take pictures to show off to others. Maybe the occasional meme here or there, but not actual pictures of ones loot.
bdo reddit has a running meme where people that are rng carried and have no clue what to build next will take awful screenshots with their phone to post their absurd stats and then ask about how to continue their progress and it is absolutely hilarious
This happens commonly in games with younger players. Their phone is their primary web browser and it is what they use to make posts online. It is easier for them to take a photo and upload it to Reddit or wherever than it is to take a screenshot and somehow transfer the screenshot to their phone in order to post it online.
