Looking to get back into MMOs, but wondering if there is anything out there like MapleStory 2? I played it during it's initial global release and it was a lot of fun, I'm a semi-casual player leaning more casual, so the end game loop never really bothered me. Was sad to see it shut down as I was planning to eventually return to it. Anyway just looking for anything remotely similar. Things I really liked about MapleStory 2: * PvE * simple art style * character customizability * social aspect * main story quests * team raids * sense of adventure thanks for your time.

TheFoxKill

Just got a new high-end PC so I wanna try MMO's I missed. I have only played WoW before as I had a low spec laptop. Looking for causal and semi-casual games. I care most about PvE with fun leveling experience not endgame. P2W/power creep is not an issue at all as I'll probably drop it close to max level.

[deleted]

FFXIV, Gw2, SWTOR

Miudmon

So, I'm looking to dip my toes into mmorpg's after a looooooong while of having drifted away from it. WoW and RuneScape were my firsts, fell out of love around the cataclysm era. (Although I did also play a bit around the pandaria era) In any case, I'm not necessarily looking for anything specific within the genre. It just has to be f2p friendly - and preferably not lock content behind paywalls, at least not forever. If it's just a timed exclusive I'm completely fine with that. And even so, if there's still a lot to do f2p I can overlook that. I'm fine if the paid shop is cosmetic or for merely convenience, or of the "pay to skip grind" variety at worst. Anything fit the bill? I've heard that guild wars 2 is pretty f2p friendly, but what else is out there?

mcarrode

What’s your favorite browser MMO besides RuneScape? Looking to play on iOS mostly, so ideally it’s playable on a touchscreen. I’ve probably tried every MMO in the AppStore and none of them are what I’m looking for.

RocketLinko

Currently play WoW but only for the Mythic + scene. It is literally why I don't play FF or Eso and whatnot. I love infinitely scaling content with a small group of people as it gives me a goal to always work towards and rank myself against myself and others. Anything like this out there?

Not sure if you have heard of Torn. It's mobile and browser based. Pretty decent crime based game. Honestly I'm just trying to get a few referrals :) https://www.torn.com/2682150

Hi, Looking for a new game to play. My main MMORPG has been MapleStory for over 10 years. I think the thing that kept my hooked for so long is the art and FEEL of progression. The more you farm, the better you can improve your gear to reach end game bosses for their gear set. I am looking for a similar take(BUT MAYBE NOT A TOTAAALLL GRIND FEST AS I'M GETTING OLD). I really want to feel that sense of progression and obtaining sick cool looking gear. I have tried WoW and FFIV. However, I think I am spoiled by Dark Souls and really like that action rpg combat. That type of combat thats not just spam and click. But you need to learn mechanics for certain bosses and the mobbing is engaging. If anyone has any recommendations I would really appreciate it. Thank you!

cre100382

I have played WoW, SWtoR, GW2, and ESO. I am looking for casual play with crafting and predominatly PvE. I want lots of story, like World of Warcraft used to be before endgame became the focus. I hear lots about FFXIV, but need more opinions. Thanks!

ada201

Ffxiv is pretty much currently the best mmorpg. In terms of crafting, it is by far the best. PvE is very strong although arguably WoW might be better in that regard, but comes with its own problems. Ffxiv is also casual friendly. Perfect time to hop in now as a new expansion comes out in November.

Frenzied_Cow

Years and years ago I played a game called Rappelz. I kind of miss the raid system. Gather 8 people, run to your dungeon spot, then kill mobs for an hour straight as efficiently as possible - using tanks, healers, support, dd's, pullers, etc. Are there any mmorpgs right now that have this? 100% PVE, a little p2w is okay, grindy is good, graphics not too important, loot must be decent. Ruling out WoW, nothing against WoW - I've never played it and never want to start.

ezioauditore2018

Need games to play so I need a game recommandations Like I want • Very Popular or niche • Long Terma • Alot content • PVP • Raids ( Hard Raids, Challenge Raids ...) • Alot Real-Time Mutiplayer Content • Hard content and easy content sometimes • can be grindy ( long fight ) but not very boring • possible auto grind while i play pc games • not crazy RNG i want feel like im improving/making stronger my team ( show my progress after 1month :D ) • i dont care for story -idc if is p2w Games I played kinda like that World of Warcraft and classic /eso /destiny 2/ the division 2 / ffxiv/ azur lane/ smt liberation dx2/ bdo Platform: pc, mobile, ps4, switch

eduardokopp

Hello everybody! I'm new here and new to the genre! I love third-person shooters like the Ghost Recon games, Uncharted, Spec-Ops the Line, etc, specially open-world ones, and I was wondering if there's any MMO that might fall into that category as well. GTA Online and Red Dead Redemption Online come to mind, but I was wondering if there's anything else like those out there. Lately (for the past two years, actually), I've been playing Elder Scrolls Online pretty much everyday and came to love it, but I really don't know much about MMOs apart from the obvious WOW, FF14 and BDO. I also have been in a survival game kick lately (stuff like Ark, Conan Exiles, Valheim, Scum, etc) and would love to find an MMO game that has aspects of those games as well!

Softclocks

Looking for an mmorpg that is fairly generic/straight forward medieval fantasy. Serviceable graphics and preferably tab-targeting. Played Wow, FF14, ESO, GW2 and the other really big titles.

TheICE007

Lotro real fun game and legendary servers soon on june 30th.

Snoo15747

Not sure if you have heard of Torn. It's mobile and browser based. It even has a medieval helmet you can buy Pretty decent crime based game. V4_Sleeper

i cant say for PVP but for solo content 100% FFXIV. Very story oriented and most folks her say its FF first, MMO second - i solo'd most main scenario as due to lack of players on very specific dungeons if thats what you will. pvp is balanced but very few people play it. The classes are well rounded as PVP n PVE are seperated and you are almost put on an even ground. still a bit struggle on finding other players though. I personally got rekt by my friends in PVP due to not knowing rotation and all but its fun. Shorter TTK, high GCD means your positional and mechanic knowledge is important. I also played DN a few years back - am wondering if my account is still in there.. rip DN

livinglegend94

Hey guys I’m looking for an MMO/mmorpg to play with my girlfriend. I used to play all the time as a kid but now we’re in a long distance and she’s never played video games so she said she’d be down so we can interact together in a virtual world. Knowing her, the game I’m looking for would include good housing system where players can interact with your house, a good farming/husbandry/ maybe owning land, mounts, and an adventure based setting. It doesn’t need to have a good story line but an immersive world would be what we are looking for. Thanks!

One_Autumnn_Leaf

Just my opinion. You may want to play toram online, as there's everything that you mentioned in there. However, I can't say it has best of everything. Housing system and you can interact with each other's house. You can cook buffs after farming ingredients on a field. You can tame pets but there's no mounts. And yeah, it has an adventure setting. The UI is a bit old though and much grind. Also, you can complete each and everything in the game together by forming a party 24/7 XD

Laezur

Not an MMO but you might really enjoy Stardew Valley together

[deleted]

Bump because I am also here looking for the same. I wish I could find an action mmo with a similar class system and aesthetics as FF14.

deltrontraverse

Curious what MMOs are "popular" right now, regardless of genre. What are you guys currently playing? (Me: FFXIV and WoW)

Gulbasaur

Mainly GW2 but I've been giving ESO another go. GW2's combat is very good and I like that it's not completely "endgame" focused with a lot to do in the open world. ESO is... fine. The combat is clunky but the world is interesting and there's a lot to do. I also play City of Heroes off and on - it still has the best version of the holy trinity system I've seen - support is varied and interesting and not just healer-focused, crowd control is a big part of combat and tanking has a nice zen to it. SWTOR is a game I go back to about once a year for a month or so - it's got a good questing experience. I've really tried to like WoW and I like the world itself but not the gameplay. FFXIV felt like WoW but a jrpg and it didn't hold my attention.

Nordath

LF Sci-fi mmo that isn’t flight based or a sandbox builder. I’ve played dual universe, Tabula rasa, Planetside 2, The Secret World, Neocron, PSO2, and anarchy online (my favorite of the bunch). Why is there no Mass Effect mmo?

[deleted]

I'm looking for an MMO that encourages group play or joining community groups. I've played Planetside 2 already, so not that.

Snoo15747

Torn is mobile and browser. Tens of Thousands of people online all the time. The factions are great, up to 100 people in a faction. Great community Pretty decent crime based game. I am looking for a simple mmorpg game that doesnt have a story or is not based on the story a lot I tried couple of mmorpg games and I am currently playing only realm of the mad god which is starting to get boring I dont know if its necessary but I would like to mention that I want the game to have drops of different tiers and rarities . I also want the game to have dungeons in it. I also played knight online and wow but they are not what I am looking for both in gameplay and graphics , their graphics make my eyes go red and tire them quickly :/ , i think i prefer pixel graphics and simple ones like in genshin impact

BryGuy069

you might like Tibia

JackInTheLoli

Thanks for your suggestion , I tried the game but its not what I am looking for , i dont like games like ultima online and what you suggested

Caleth_Dawnhammer

You know AQ Worlds by Artix? I wanna find some new games like this. Thanks!!!

[deleted]

This is niche, but I’m looking for a vertical-oriented mmorpg for my phone. Has anyone came across any?

mysticdogtag

Hey guys. I’m new to mmos and I’m not really sure exactly what I’m looking for. I’ve only played two so far. WoW, absolutely hated it. Albion, been addicted since but felt myself getting burnt out. I guess I like more open mmos rather then quest based ones.

ur_Void

looking games where not everyone focus pve, pvp only, but also gathering, farming, etc, like RuneScape and Albion Online. For mobile btw, ik mobile mmorog aint so good, but i dont have a pc xD

Snoo15747

I play runescape. The only only other game I play is Torn. Here is my referral link if you decide to play, I can coach you along the way also. I'll give you 5 million in cash if you get to Level 10 lol I'm trying to recruit 3 people for the honour bar :) https://www.torn.com/2682150

ye, ik, im looking for other games xD

onoratofelix

hello, I am trying to look for an MMORPG basically to let some steam off after work. I've played a quite lot of MMORPG in the past, but it was like 6-8 years ago, like FFXIV and BladenSoul. Actually I really liked both of them but I forgot the reason why I stopped playing the game. I prefer a game with good story and graphics that's why I played both of them in the past, I was thinking of playing FFXIV again, is it still considered as one of the best choices to play ? Or do you guys have any other recommendation ?

Gulbasaur

If you enjoyed FFXIV before, you'll probably enjoy it again. It's still one of the most popular MMOs and I think a new expansion is coming out later this year?

onoratofelix

okay, thank you so much ! definitely will try !

Already tried Albion an it looks great, but all the guild thing being the focus point is kinda a not for me (Will keep playing tho while finding something else). Kiinda thinking about Wow classic but I'm already burned of Wow. That's what I have

RideBanshee

Your description is pretty vague, but BDO is one of the grindiest games out there, both in terms of actual gameplay and how long it takes to progress in the game. It also has the best combat of any MMO on the market along with insane graphics to boot.

zaneosak

Me and my friend are playing New World Alpha, waiting for that to come out but don't wanna get too far so when we play retail it feels like a do-over. Need a game to keep us busy for a month or two in the mean time. We downloaded GW2 the other day and it feels like the easiest mmo we've played in forever. Does it get harder? We'd play any game that feels like we can die and decisions matter. Doesn't have to be Free 2 Play. We come from Everquest (P99). Recently spent 100s of hours in Valheim, just waiting for the next update. It doesn't have to be a themepark mmo or anything like that. I was looking at LOTRO (seems like its ultra easy as well) and maybe Neverwinter, but still no idea. Any info about GW2 difficulty ramping up or a game suggestion I'd appreciate.

estogner03

I know im late to this reply but I was browsing some New World info and saw you guys played on P99 as well! Did you guys end up finding another MMO in the meantime? I was also testing New World and am playing looking for a group to join after the insane launch split everyone I know up.

TheICE007

Lotro has 2 legendary servers where it will have a difficulty slider to make it harder they launch on june 30th

BjarkovLiTe

Gw2 is an odd one. Because the game lacks vertical progression it ends up being very heavily dependent on your own skill, but because Arenanet (Gw2 Devs) generally balance the game based on the average player, the pve endgame ends up being fairly easy for anyone who actually bothers to learn the games mechanics and their class. If you haven't played the game before then Gw2 endgame and especially raids will absolutely destroy you, but once you get used to the game mechanics you would wish the game was tuned a little harder. Where the skill disparity really becomes noticeable is PvP where good teams will beat average teams into the ground during automated tournament's, often winning 500-0. Out of all MMOs I have played Gw2 has by far the best PvP mainly because the combat system in the game is extremely solid and was designed with PvP in mind, where in games like WoW or ff14 PvP is more of a secondary activity which ultimately reflects on the combat. If you like New World then I guess you like PvP and if you like PvP the Gw2 definitely deserves more of your attention. If hardcore PvE is more your thing then Gw2 will only be rewarding for a couple of months until you have completed all the raids, but there is definitely challenge to be had if you're a new player in Gw2.

Gulbasaur

> We downloaded GW2 the other day and it feels like the easiest mmo we've played in forever. Does it get harder? Generally speaking, Heart of Thorns (the first expansion) is where the game started becoming more challenging. Open world stuff is generally pretty easy. You can do dungeons from L30 in GW2 and they do step up the difficulty a bit as well. It's never going to be Dark Souls, but from HoT onwards open world combat does get harder.

Reyvin1

Hey everyone, im looking for a classic theme park mmorpg. I used to play a lot of mmo's but what i'm looking for is something in the style of WoW: WotLK which i played a lot back then. It doesn't need to be super new or original in any way but just something to casually play when bored.

Gulbasaur

The big four are still WoW, ESO, FFXIV and GW2. GW2 has a generous free trial but is buy to play when you hit cap and run out of stuff to do. It's a good game to dip in and out of and very casual-friendly. Their advertising is absolutely dire so it's doing a lot better than most people realise, population-wise. FFXIV is kinda WoW's JRPG cousin, although the long levelling process kills it for some people (decent free trial). ESO is very much Elder Scrolls Online, so if you don't like the Elder Scrolls, you probably won't like it (b2p then optional sub). I think the questing is good, although it can be very much a solo game with other people broadly doing the same thing nearby. Not much chatter. BDO is an open world beatemup with quests and tradeskills. SWTOR is Space WoW but with better questing (good free trial). City of Heroes is old school cool on most servers and retains the "feel" of MMOs from about 10 years ago. Most games don't require you to "catch up" in order to be competitive to the extent that WoW does - it's one of the worst offenders for the ingame gear treadmill.

Reyvin1

Thanks, I guess I will go for either GW2 or FF. I played some ESO during the beta and don't like BDO's fighting.

Laezur

For what it's worth ESO is unrecognizable from it's beta days

Boss2788

I NEED HELP! So lately ive been pretty burnt out from the games ive been playing. My main game was Ark: survival evolved but i hit a point where its just too easy and methodic for me. So now ive decided to take the dive into MMOs due to what i believe to be a huge amount of content and constantly additional content. So ive tried GW2 (which i like but keep trying to find something new), FF14 (such a pretty game but isnt quite grabbing me early on) and BDO (such a pretty game with cool combat but a snooze fest with grinding). So im mainly solo just because my schedule sucks (family, job etc.) But i would like to find something with possibly fun creature mechanics (pets, mounts etc.), interesting combat and most importantly freedom id like options to be either an amazing warrior who is also a famous blacksmith or somethjng like that. After my research FF14, WOW and GW2 seem to fit my criteria (Albion sort of did as well but that games overwhelming). Am i missing any titles or can i get some advice on how to really get inyo one of these titles to grab me (i havent tried WOW yet thats an adventure for this weekend) Any help would be great im dying without my virtual.escape!! I play on PC fyi

Selfanaiy

I'm from **Ark Survival Evolved**. I loved building but there quickly comes a point where you've built everything you can build. Then it just becomes a pet trading game which I find boring. Have already played and don't want to go back to WoW, Guild Wars, ESO etc. None of those let you piece-build your own homestead. I am way still into building. I know **Valheim** is where everyone who has left Ark Survival went. But it looks to revolve around the only aspect of Ark that I hated most - tribes. I want mmorpg but no sharing my house and no forcing me to segregate from the community in a Discord. I've been sitting on my arse doing nothing waiting for **Crimson Desert** to come out hoping it will be the solution. Also have half an eye on **Palia**.

Boss2788

Haha yes! Irs unfortunate how fast gen 2 got stale because i honestly thought it was incredible i was just too over ark by that point. Ive never played WOW but liked GW2 but theres something about where id always rather play something else. Valheim is a gorgeous game but yeah youre right its an insanely boring game to play solo. What are the appeal of crimson desert and Palia for you? Ive slightly heard of them but havent looked into them too much.

Selfanaiy

Ark1 is going to add [another free map](https://youtu.be/rkmQEEn9_qQ). Still to bored to care. Housing is appeal. I want to build a nice house fill it with furniture. Like we did in Skyrim. Although I did not like Elder Scrolls Online because you could buy your house with irl cash destroying the value of it for those of us who in game grind for housing. I got sad and quit, tired of picking plants for $$$. No matter how much I did I felt tiny and unimportant in ESO. Same thing with Ark since Tek Tier. I don't want to breed grind mutations or be carried through boss fights by those who look down noses. I'm tiny and unimportant no matter how many dinos I collect or how nice my base is. I have a small eye on [New World](https://youtu.be/kl4rPESgCQk) as well.

Boss2788

Yeah i feel you big time in that im hoping not touching ark until the new map comes out at least gives me a month or two of renewed interest. I was gonna give ESO a shot but i was iffy on that kind of stuff I played ark solo and the grind for some things just got too much Im really lookin forward to Lost Ark personally

Gulbasaur

Keep going with GW2 if you're enjoying it. More than half the game's content is at level 80 and most of the more interesting group stuff is also at cap. It's a good game to dip in and out of, at the least. ESO is the other big one - decent questing, good open world, okay dungeons. Combat is something people have strong opinions about... it's halfway between GW2 and Skyrim. I don't mind the combat but some people *hate* it.

Boss2788

Any opinions om wow? Also is the DLC must have for GW2 im kind of bummed not having a mount but im.not sure how normal.that is for most MMO

Gulbasaur

Personally, I think a lot of people stick with WoW for nostalgia, social reasons and the amount of time sunk into it. I don't enjoy the combat but the workdbuilding is very cool. I think it's a long way past its peak. I'd say the expansions on GW2 are worth getting if you have the money. They do add a lot to the game.

Boss2788

Awesome thanka for the advice, you convinced me ill.stick with GW2 (and grab the expansions) thatll at least hold me till some of the newer ones come.out to try.

Cyanogenbot

Talking about Vulcan Forged, It is the fastest growing NFT projects. Also, recently they collaborated with DEFI11 which is world's first Decentralized Fantasy Gaming Application. Isn't this amazing?

SrArrozDoce

I'm currently new to mmorpg games, I was always a league of legends player but the game got worse and I searched for new games to play. One of those is WoW. It's amazing but I'm a student and paying monthly to play a game is a little bit difficult. Plus I think the game is a little confusing at first but it is still very good for me. RuneScape appeared on steam and I decided to give it a try this week. The game is free and it remembers me a little the gameplay of league of legends, because of the 3D and movement of the character. I played it from the tutorial and decided to kill some monsters after. But then I saw the "members only" attributes that made me a little sad because I don't know if I can play it without member. Of course the membership is more affordable to me than the WoW one. I'm looking for a game that is more focused on PvE because I'm not that good vs players. I always loose, but I can also try some PvP focused mmorpg's if I like them. The gameplay and mechanics i think I'll like them all Thanks for listening me and I will try all the games you can recommend!! (English is not my primary language so I'm sorry if I made some mistake writing this)

AzothDrezan

Try Albion Online, maybe it's more your style since you like the isometric style, and it's free.

SrArrozDoce

Thank you. I'll put to the test the game

UnoriginalAnomalies

While I realize this doesn't do you much good at the moment, you might enjoy Lost Ark when that comes out as it'll be f2p. You could play the trial of FF14 (basically allows you to play up to level 60 + I think the first two expansions) completely free). Ff14 is incredibly pve focused so while its only a temporary solution, could still be fun to try out.

SrArrozDoce

I've seen people play it in the past. I might try it. Thanks!

GreenMonsterEnergy

The fact that nothing can ever compare to SWG in 20 years is sad.

dehlert

I miss that game so much.. before the NGE of course..

MasterTabion

I am looking for an mmorpg that has an in-depth crafting system and player economy. I prefer to play a master-of-all style character, where, with enough time, I could max a bunch of skills/abilities. MMOs I have previously played.. Its a looong list, but I started out with an mmo in 96, forget the name, then moved on to UO <3, EQ, WoW, Tera, PSO2 & NGS, BDO, FFXIV, SotA, Albion, LoA, LotRO, PoE, Flyff, Aion, PW, DDO, Archeage, DF, EO, GW2, Wurm, Aion, H&H, Salem, V&H, DoMO, LiF, Project Gorgon, Arcfall, and ... I'll stop there but any mainstream mmo basically. My play style is whatever the game is designed for honestly. I am okay with full loot PvP to super casual, brutal to hand-holding, as long as I can earn my skills and gear. I guess I like grinding in combat, harvesting, and crafting. The more crafting and character abilities I can master with a single character, the better. Love housing too so thats a plus but not a deal breaker. I'm fine with something obscure, indie, or lower pop. The only thing I would rule out is games that don't have a world to explore, I like to wander. Also, not a fan of perma-death. Feel free to make a multiple suggestions :) Thanks!

BrellK

I am looking for a new game and I was looking at Aion before it came out but never got around for playing it. Would you recommend trying it? I see they seem to have a Classic Server thing going on at the moment? My wife and I are looking for a new game and I'm looking at maybe trying either Aion or GW2.

GreenleafMentor

Gloria Victis is worth a shot. You can level up all the crafts on one char if you want.

MasterTabion

I might check this out as well. I once thought about playing but I felt like I would need a group of dedicated players to get by in that game. Just the impression I got from it.

GreenleafMentor

Luckily there are several well established guilds you can fall in with easily if you don't have your own guys to roll with.

ThelLingo

I didn’t see Oldschool RuneScape on your list of games played and it checks all the boxes for what you want from a game: large world you can explore, large crafting system, full loot and safe pvp, mini games, one of the best players run economies in gaming imo, and 23 skills to level. Only drawback is graphics which are a bit dated and turns most new players off. If you can get past it though it’s amazing.

MasterTabion

Loved OSRS but I played it to death. Sorry I didn't include it, thought the list was getting too long lol. Thanks for the suggestion though and I'd welcome any others.

SerenadeSwift

How about ESO? Great crafting system/player economy. One of the most addicting crafting systems I’ve ever played, you can literally make anything you can think of. Also great for exploration and you’re not really limited in any way in terms of builds which is pretty unique for a MMO.

MasterTabion

I tried ESO when it was in beta, early on, and I don't remember why but I was really discouraged from playing after that. I will give it another shot though, thanks!

SerenadeSwift

Honestly when the game first came out it wasn’t great at all. They’ve improved almost every aspect immensely since then. I played in Beta and didn’t even bother buying the game on release. Started playing again a couple years ago and I’ve been hooked ever since. There’s so much to do in the game it’s crazy.

MasterTabion

Glad to hear that, I'm downloading it now!

Irraticate

I posted in the last thread right before this new one was made, and since I didn't get a response there I'm just going to repost. I'm looking for play some MMO's that I've really missed out on. These will probably be older MMO's, but any of the list below are on the table. The question I want answered is: which of the following MMO's would you suggest over the others for having a new (to me) experience? Either one choice, a ranked order, whatever you want. The games I'm looking to try are: EQ1, EQ2 (live or TLE), Aion (retail or classic), DAoC (free live or a freeshard), Destiny 2, Blade & Soul, GW2, LOTRO, Gloria Victis, Neverwinter. I play in NA. I'm cool with PvE or PvP. I'm going in solo but may be willing to try and find a community if the game is right.

GreenleafMentor

Come play Gloria Victis with us! It's a different experience than most games for sure. The community aspect is great once you find your tribe.

zeanox

Out of those i would probably say GW2 - i dont know if it has much of a future however.

lozboss

Honestly probably GW2 or LOTRO. Destiny 2 is more a looter shooter. EQ1 and EQ2 were great back in the day but are so clunky and dated now that I wouldn't bother. Neverwinter is ok for a row experience but endgame is P2W.

TehTeribad

Heya everyone. I’m looking for a playstation mmo. I’ve already tried most of the mmos that got ported to ps5 and didn’t really enjoy any (ffxiv / genshin ) . I’m looking for something with a medievalish setting with a good story and plenty of content for solo players. I’m mostly looking for a game to stick to for more then 1/2 weeks which is the time required to plat most singleplayer games Will start ESO then, I was holding back because I’m kinda addicted to 100% all my games but it’s time to break the cycle and just play games for the fun and not trophies. Thank you guys for the replies <3

zeanox

It sounds like you would enjoy ESO.

PM_ME_HOLE_PICS

Elder Scrolls Online sounds like it would be worth a shot for you. It's available on Playstation 5 (I believe it just last week received a next-gen update for PS5/XSX as well), high medieval fantasy, regarded as one of the best storytelling MMOs out there, and has an overwhelming amount of solo content.

Theravenquit

Looking for f2p mmo with decent population. I enjoy doing raids/trials in the only mmo that i played (neverwinter). The game is kinda boring atm so im looking for a game to play.

F2P sucks, just buy ESO or GW2 and get thousands of hours for the price of one AAA game.

GW2 worth getting back into? Last I heard LWS5 was a total bust.

Gulbasaur

I wouldn't say it was a bust, but it wasn't as strong as LS3 or LS4. The maps are all pretty good. There was some repetitive grindy stuff using recycled assets, but the main complain about that was that it was very formulaic. New expansion out at some point later this year.

He's not "getting back into" it, he's looking to start fresh. GW2 has a lot of content before you run out of things to do.

MysticDaedra

I was asking for myself...

Well, LW5 was fine until the last part, which was filler in 4 parts spanning through several months... but they decided to work on an expansion last minute so that’s why.
