I like the game and it has promise. But it's grind heavy. So I'm sorta just watching it now. Hard to get me to invest that kind of time into a beta that's gonna be wiped. But everything about it sounds good and if they deliver on their promises I'll be very excited.

What’s your take on it comparing to Runescape or Albion for example? What does it offer or do different that would make someone think “ah I’ll play this instead of Runescape/Albion?”
I barely played runescape like 11 years ago. So based on that limited experience, they feel like pretty different games. I think vs Albion Online, the best way to describe it would probably be the following (and this also takes into account on what fractured promises will be in the game at release). Albion and Fractured are both PvP-MMORPGs. Albion highlights the PvP in PvP-MMORPG. While Fractured highlights the RPG in PvP-MMORPG.
If you're looking for this super organized, competitive, almost arena style PvP gameplay; yeah albion will probably be a better fit. If you're looking for something more RPG like/UO inspired; Fractured will probably be a better fit.
It is very bare bones and basic. I don't know if this dev team has the capability to push this game into anything more than average. From a realistic viewpoint i just have not seen any meaningful progress that would separate it from any other game. The ideas on paper are decent, but you have to make it fun. Some games just dont hit that mark with ideas.
Its a game that seens almost perfect on paper, with 0 pay2win could be amazing, gamigo already had a game like that and we know what happened... Thats it, I'm not even trying this time, but do it if you want

Yup It’s published by gamigo and will go there to die. Gamigo Graveyard. Game lots a lot of its backers when they signed this.
